Today I worked on......

A few little things done that I think make a big difference. Plastic protectors, shooter plaque and speaker inserts from Col. Upgraded the speakers, new apron cards, some Titan rubbers and latest Cleland code. Also the unseen but essential stuff done to make it play best, coil stops, sleeves and fixes to the drop target and magnet.

GotG really is a great pro machine, I'm not normally too bothered by mechs/ toys but the magnet grab out of the drop target and Groot are great, models instead of flat plastics too. Enjoying it so far!

Been fixing this up, my first fixer 😀
Managed to get rid of all the faults in the boot up, replaced all rubbers , replaced and fixed all the lights (led now) rebuilt flippers, and sorted out so so much more

Really enjoyed doing it 😀

On the to do list, want to install a colourdnd lcd, try and source some new decays and plastic ramps, a new football and replace some of the metal posts and thinking of getting the metal ramp coloured so it has a gold look.
Also the 3 white leds in the top middle, I want yellow. But can’t seem to get the right match 😀 (but annoying)

I have Posted various , how the hell do it do this requests and got some great replies. So thanks guys

Just finished sanding my new Terminator 2 toppers and ready for chrome. Though I think I’ll powder coat the backing plate black.

These ones are not as high as my original topper on my T2 so ceiling height shouldn’t be an issue.

Once back I’ll add the coloured acrylics and led strips to light them up.

I got fed up with carrying cabinets too and from my workshop whilst I work on them, and after seeing the PF’s in the CGC factory on simple wooden tables, I thought I make my own.

I can also now store parts underneath them instead of all I’ve the house which has pleased the missus 😂

Thanks mate. I only work on more than one at a time if it’s the same game. At the moment I’m juggling between 3 FTs and a BSD.
The main challenge is space for all the parts so these tables really help.

Pulled this one out of storage
I gather that it must have received the cabinet for a competition or promotion
I will eventually remove the art and get new decals for the side (the original art is damaged

Drilled the lock, no backbox key. Pulled out the playfield and the key was at the back of the cabinet
Unfortunately I had put it away with the batteries still in the MPU, that board is toast
Went to pull out the power/driver board. Cheep-ass operator has soldered the wires to the board, rather than install new plugs

I just installed the 'Noodle Bar Building, Tokyo Neon #2' mod to my Godzilla Pin, and it looks fantastic! It really enhances that part of the machine. Pictures don't do it justice, Thanks @stumblor

Got a Geeteoh board coming for my 2nd favourite game of all time so thought I should also give it a mini shop out. I haven't really done anything to this since I restored it many years ago. It'll need a clean plus new clear rubbers and I'm going to swap out the GI for LED's and see how it looks although i may go back to my original incandescent look as it really suits this game IMO.

Fitted @Paul 's JJP capacitor kit to my Guns 'n' Roses. I wasn't one who noticed a great deal to be honest but thought I'd give it a go its a cheap mod. Had a couple of games and it's quite noticeable like playing the game in a new gear.

All back together after it's clean up and the Geeteoh board is in along with some new speakers thanks to @new forest pinball  I think the custom sound package it comes with can be improved upon so I've downloaded music, films quotes and sounds and am having a play about in Audacity. I'll shoot a video when I've come up with something :D
