Genesis Apron Plunger Decal Set-Gottlieb 1986 | Shop | Absolute Pinball & Amusements
This was produced for the 1986 Gottlieb Genesis pinball, as the original apron was rusted out. It has a slight micro metallic look. As pictured, you will have to measure and trim the decal to fit. This will work with other Gottlieb aprons too. You will have to cut out the ball shooter guide from…www.absolutepinball.com
HUO Ant make that 60 years it will lastI worked on a few more TAF scoops this week that all had the usual broken spot welds. These 3 are for @Happypin TAF restore.
They should hopefully now last another 30+ years

They suit it really wellAs the weather was ok last week, I took the opportunity to make some new wooden rails out of oak for a Fish Tales I’m working on.

Once I’d drilled the holes, I removed them and cracked out the stains. Decided to go with a nice green which really highlights the grain of the wood.

After that I clear coated them and screwed them back onto the playfield.

Thanks. yeah I was contemplating orange but on then playfield, there is actually more green especially when the plastics are in place. They suit it really well
Not sure, my oak is darker and was done about 15 years ago. My new playfield is still waiting to be fittedThanks. yeah I was contemplating orange but on then playfield, there is actually more green especially when the plastics are in place.
Though a blue might also work as well
For me i think they need to be either classic black or you need to pick out a prominent colour on the playfield, which is why orange wouldn’t work as there’s hardly any of that colour on it.Not sure, my oak is darker and was done about 15 years ago. My new playfield is still waiting to be fitted
Will look totally different when it’s all together so I might like it better then, whatever floats your boat
Probably because I’ve had fishing boats with teak etc that I like the natural look, just looks right to me and they have been on there long enough. For me i think they need to be either classic black or you need to pick out a prominent colour on the playfield, which is why orange wouldn’t work as there’s hardly any of that colour on it.
The artwork and plastics are mainly green and blue, so I think it will work once fully rebuilt
Still working on my STTNG
Cabinet is back together, playfield is back in, justs the ramps and the wiring to get back in place.
It’s really starting to come together
Cheers, the photos resolution has been dropped by the site - the photos don’t show how clean and shiny it is.Really like the powder coating, looks great
Very niceHad work done on the garage to fit 3 pins in (previously had 2 in there), no carpet until the 10th but everything else pretty much done.
