Genesis would have to come in two different layouts. Peter Gabriel for the discerning player and a vanilla version for Phil.

I’m still amused that in American Psycho one of the first gave always about his deranged mental state is that he rates Phil above Peter 😂

It is okay saying no more music pins - but they generally sell well. Look at Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Metallica, Elvis, Guns n Roses (Data east and JJP).....
I can not see Stern employees looking here and taking any notice.
Personally it would be fantastic to see companies just make good games, sod the licenses! Cirqus Voltaire, Attack from Mars, Medieval Madness, Theatre of Magic, Roadshow, Funhouse, Getaway, White Water, ToTAN, Black Knight (x3), Big Bang Bar, Pinbot series, Fish Tales, Fathom, Pinball Magic, Taxi, F14, Earthshaker etc.....
See companies can do it..... Perhaps when they had imagination.
Instead of spending money on licenses they should put it in the game.
 
I think they're almost at critical mass with the music pins but I'd quite like to see what Richie and JJP could do with a Bon Jovi theme.

Definitely Stern should leave the music pins alone though, Jaws is exciting and I'd love them to do Top Gun or Titanic
 
stern do seem stuck on a music/superhero theme axis.
Of the two I actually think the superhero one is more bland/generic.

But realistically there are far worse themes. Are we really craving for a return to the days of CSI/24/Monopoly/Playboy? What about Twister? Even the beloved WMS did Gilligan’s Island and the “wrong” flintstones.

Be careful what we wish for or we will see a Love Island themed game 😱

Good pinball machines sell well. Sometimes they are about music, super heroes or other. I can normally stomach any theme but the music in Rush is just terrible. I thought about doing a hip hop version but the music is too tightly integrated into the game play.

Hi was thinking about this recently Chris, as used to be a huge 'Jovi fan (the These Days album and 90s live shows was them at their their peak imho, downhill from there), although the problem with BJ is they have great tunes for a pin, but have never had any iconic album covers, videos or mascot to really draw upon for a pin. You could have the Slipoery when whet sign somewhere and maybe a needle for Bad medicine, but that's it (some figures for Tommy and Gina would be a stretch I think he he)
Also, you have the issue with Richie Sambora having left years ago now (hugely underrated guitarist and singer and co-wrote most of the tunes), so might be issues there - surely noine wants to see Phil X on there (I acknowledge he's and awesome player and seemingly a good bloke mind.. )

With pins such as 'Maiden they had loads to draw from which worked really well for both toys/aesthetics and model (MET being the most successfully in my biased opinion ; Snake mech, MOP crosses, AJFA hammer and mode - the ramps with the red nights underneath are awesome, RTL electric chair, Death Magnetic coffin insert, fuel etc and that's not even getting in to the music.
 
Not counting BK3 , the last two non licensed Sterns are High Roller Casino and before that Striker Extreme , two total stinkers.
 
Love pretty much all music pins.
Not too easy just swapping tunes via pin browser as the theme is integrated and feels odd.
I’ve tried liking Rush music, I just can’t get on with them.
Would be useful for RTI (resistance to interrogation) instead of white noise.
I’d give way more than my name/rank/number
just to make the pain stop….lol
