This reminds me a bit of the Rolling Stones (stern) pinball artwork, how did that sell? I'd wager the theme helped it sell loads, regardless of the pinside whingers!
Freddie on a stick and I'm in

I think I already said it was live tracks from the Wembley gig (NOT Live Aid)I need to get some work done lol....
I checked Wiki and Queen 1985 Wembley is regarded by many in the industry as the best live performance of all time.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Queen_live_performances
So this was performed in the Queen day session at Live Aid:
Bohemian Rhapsody ---- on the pin
Radio Ga Ga ---- on the pin
Hammer To Fall ----- on the pin
We Will Rock You --- on the pin
We Are The Champions ---- on the pin
Crazy Little Thing Called Love ---- alas not included
Being live on the pin, one would hope its from the Live Aid performances.
@Pick Holder - from the photos, is the main cab Wembley?
I read the comments here about this artwork is (insert any negative word here) and I have to laugh. I'll bet very few, if anyone, here has actually had to produce or instigate pinball art and get it approved by the licence owners. It can be a complete nightmare.
What you see is NOT necessarily what the manufacturer wanted to have - often it's what they were TOLD they were going to use!
I laugh when I see things like "they should have done (insert anything different from what was done here) rather than XX"
For Gods sake, give people a break! Do you really think a manufacturer is going to invest hundreds of thousands of dollars and usually more than a years work for the entire team and intentionally produce rubbish?
My comments were made because I doubt most have any idea what goes on behind the scenes. I was adding some context and possibly additional info. I certainly wasn't intentionally insulting anyone and, maybe aside from you, I doubt anyone was actually insulted by my comments.why do people tell others off on here for expressing their feelings? Give people a break?
Exactly, this is a forum with a bunch of people who enjoy pinball, playing, criticising, talking about it, collecting, modding etc.
Its not the place where people will reserve a criticism based on what a company may have invested, or perhaps what the IP holders have influenced.
The comments were made in the right place, not with a mic outside the companies head office, being rude.
The irony is, you insulted the people who are in the room chatting in front of you, because of opinions they had away from the designers.
I had to laugh
The main point was that it was Ironic and I had to laugh, I doubt anyone was insulted either...I wasn't, it wasn't aimed towards me. I hadn't made a comment. When I used the word insulted...maybe this was too strong a word for what I meant... No hard feelings. My comments were made because I doubt most have any idea what goes on behind the scenes. I was adding some context and possibly additional info. I certainly wasn't intentionally insulting anyone and, maybe aside from you, I doubt anyone was actually insulted by my comments.
Narrowly beat you to itjust announced. just got an email with info from pinball bros.
Queen Pinball | Pinball Brothers
As one of the most legendary bands in rock history, Queen’s musical mastery has eternally shaped the soundtrack of our lives. This is our tribute to them.www.pinballbrothers.com
I actually hope not, it looks standard from what I can see but my OCD played hell with my lineup when Aliens was in thereWill this be a wide body like Alien?
Not skimping; finding a solution in the face of absurd demands from a rights holder. All the songs are live versions. ffs. skimping on licensing.
I like the fact the prices look reasonable and I like the upper playfield kinda loosely stolen from GnR but I think the main feature of this pin is not gonna be layout or code but the music that will do the talking.Any love for this? I like Queen, but as some with more understanding of playfield layouts pointed out, this isn’t pushing the envelope. I like the look of Alien, looks packed with shots and the ball grab mech is a pinball moment. This seems like a backwards step for the company unless there’s something we’re not seeing from the photos
It’s what Andrew got, the license was buttons. Be interesting to see if they go with the other licenses (doubtful) or if they come up with an actual game themselves, more stuff stolen from the remains of HP, shame they didn’t pay people back who lost money (lest we forget the brothers were the funding behind HP)All the songs are live versions. ffs. skimping on licensing.
@AlanJ - you licence the song and not the version. All the songs are live versions. ffs. skimping on licensing.
They dont have to - it is done via Bravado - who do licensing deals with bands - mainly on T shirts and merch for world tours. If Queen was on the market for a pin, why didn’t Stern snag it.
I love the songs chosen. One would hope they pick good live performances.
Why would the band sign off on that awful art and cab decals. P!ss poor…
Also, peeps who pay for limited pins, like mirrored back glass.
Looks like another piece of plastic for Translite.
