Yup, absolute twattery of the highest order.

Thankfully the kind of people who would pull as stunt like that seem to be in the minority.

I remember hearing that story off someone else. What an absolute scum bag. It ruins it for everyone else and also makes the person who offered up the item for free in the first place loose faith in the community :(

I see the Tron got pulled, pity I was keeping an eye on that. I did make them a cheeky low offer but they didn't bite :).

I don't think I have seen any of his pins run the distance, I believe they have all finished early. I did offer before to view the pin for anyone as it is literally a 2 minute walk from my house. The seller is fairly new to pinball and doesn't know a huge amount about them and doesn't seem to keep them long.

Cheers Tony

Would have been interesting to see what it went for, but I had a feeling it wouldn't last long.

Ha ha. The seller of those plastics sold me my paragon. He very generously threw them in with the sale as clearly he'll never need them again........... Oh............ Wait a minute

Oh *!^* poop I can't tell the difference between a Gorgar and Paragon - think i'll go back to bed!!
Having just worked 6 night shifts i know how ya feel mate. Yep gorgar. An overlay or better playfield is what im looking out for

I was thinking about going for the plastics but missed the auction due to the cat being at the vets after his car accident (in case you hadn't depressed yourself reading my other moany thread my cat was hit by a car on Friday night).

But like @Gaz Shiells said, the seller (Ken Brooker) should have really included them with the Paragon he bought, especially after the hoo-har with the backglass. I've met him a couple of times and he was very nice (he even gave me a bag of posts and bumper parts, and an old knackered populated Paragon playfield that I've managed to pull a few spares from) so contacted him directly to do a direct off-eBay sale.

Thought it might be handy to have a few spare plastics. @Gaz Shiells, what condition are your plastics in? I was lucky, mine are all pretty mint, only the large upper aprons a bit warped but they can be heat flattened. Happy to share if you need any.

Thanks peter. My plastics are good I think. Always handy to have spares in the family though ;)

Dunno but Birmingham is 5 mins from where i am. "A permeant part time position"... Hmmm....

'Birmingham' is a wide area too. I'm [proper] working in Birmingham now and again, maybe i could earn some permanent part time pocket money on the side!

And i must say Ebay seems like an ideal way to recruit staff through clear and detailed adverts such as this. Well done BigFatTony1 - i salute you.

Hmm looks like my old Fish Tales is on Ebay...funny how the owner doesn't mention Mark Ritchie signed the instruction card!
Probably doesn't even know who MR is!!!

Sounds like he is sick of his pins breaking all the time. I must admit, there has been an occasion or two where I thought about the same damn thing.

Imagine having your very own Pinball mania Andy you could just get out the cupboard and sort out your woes whilst you have a cuppa? T'would be awesome, I tell ya.

Wish I had one of them I still have a non working fp sat in the corner
