Yeah, all the trademarks of a scam but near enough to visit if location is legit. Waiting for any response/info from seller.

Looks like a Choochoo Arcades photo. They're in US, not Birmingham....

I saw the location and that was my thinking, otherwise I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole.

Edit: Bugger!

I can't believe the Tron hasn't got a bid on it yet. Maybe people just haven't got a lot of disposable income at the moment.

The starting bid is 3250 though. That is already slightly over what most people here would value at Tron at I think. They usually go for around 3k.

Hmm ok, i must admit I've never seen a Tron for sale for 3k....if i did i would buy it.

They don't come up for sale often. Only a few have popped up in the last year or so. The one on ebay has wear in some areas but a decent price for that pin (if you get it for the starting bid). If you were to pimp out a Tron with all the available upgrades, it would cost as much a decent B-list Williams/bally game and more. The pro is pretty bland as a standard machine imo.

I thought rockypins was on the official twat list?

Not heard of any issues with dodgy selling practices, only the story he bought a WH20 at a show at one price, then immediately sold it for a much higher one in a short time frame. I guess it rubbed some folk up the wrong way, but I don't know the full story. I do remember it being a nice example however.

That says one thing to me. He's a business man out to make money. Nothing wrong with that, but I would ask a gazillion questions and request as many pics if I ever dealt with him.

What REALLY got up everyone's nose though, is when James G, very kindly offered up a FREE peachy BlackRose playfield to anyone who promised to use it as a replacement for a worn one. And Mr Rocky Pins turned up and collected it, lying through his teeth about owning a BR and really needed it. Then the very next day puts it on eBay for in excess of a £100.

Now that's c@#tish.
