Dungeons & Dragons by Stern

One annoying thing with the pro....unless I've got this wrong....it doesn't have the pop up trap door mech to the dungeon, however as stern only make one playfield these days it just has a blank in it's place,. right in the middle of the playfield.

Does look like an interesting machine, I'm looking forward to playing one.
Yeah, I was trying to work out from the videos if this is a clear trapdoor with lights underneath, like an insert?

Yeah they've just put a huge blank insert in there and put a light under it. I guess is saves them $ per playfield rather than making 2 different playfields. Bond is the worst for this, that area infront of the left scoop.

Thought this theme would leave me cold (used to love the cartoon though), but have to admit, the game looks pretty fun and look forward to having a go soon.

First thing which came to mind was this when I watched the reveal....:-)

Well the music and call-outs just killed that stone dead for me 😬😅 Jesus, just painful ….shut up Dragon
I was exactly the same, the music was killing me, it was slightly better in a multiball. Dragon again you were spot on, its just too much it never stops, please make it stop.

I have gone from a probably NIB to a maybe first in line for a used.

On the plus side the Pro dragon movement was fine for me.

Possibly they will rein it in a bit with code , or perhaps have an adjustment for frequency of Dragon call outs 🤷‍♂️

It’s amazing how important the sounds are - no matter how good the game I can’t get over annoying (to me) call-outs or music . Especially at home.

It’s not the first time I have clicked on a video to check out a game , and after 30 seconds the sounds/music have me thinking …. I can’t have that in the house😅

Its not like they did much with it on the Premium?LE though is it, just a wobbly scuba diver and bond that lights up every so often.

D&D at EAG.

"Electrocoin’s John A Stergides has promised customers “a few surprises” at EAG 2025 this year alongside a range of brand new titles that expand on proven successes, such as Mr Do Football Frenzy, Stern’s Dungeons and Dragons pinball, and one or two new concepts that “may provide a trip down memory lane.” (Electrocoin EAG 2025)."

Mr. Do! is my second favourite game of all time but I’ve never heard of this.

Football Frenzy was a Neogeo game in the early 90s.

Quite what that combination of words means in 2025 I don’t know. Perhaps they’ve missed a comma out.

They had a new Mr.Do game there last year as redemption.

I think this is something new again with Mr.Do in it.

In the late 80s we had my table top in our student house and one guy played for hours on it . He could also play the gauntlet for 12 hours on one credit.

Thank god for volume knobs

Great episode @Gonzo really enjoyed it!

The passion they both have for their game is infectious!

They are really good guys John mate, a real honour to speak to Brian after all these years and they truly love pinball . . . . proper D&D nerds too, I had no idea what them and Enzo were talking about after the video 🤣.

Dwight is a funny guy with a cracking sense of humour.

Got two top names coming up for interviews soon!

Also, great interview mate, really well done.

What I loved was the lack of arrogance with them both, it wasn’t what they have done, it was genuine excitement for the game.

Just had couple hours at the EAG

Happily surprised how good D&D is, shots really well with some decent shots and seems like code is going to be good

I only played the pro as the premium was embarrassing and shouldn’t have been on the floor on code that does lift the dragons head in a ball search

I didn’t see one person get to play a full game on in 4 hours 🤣
