Dungeons & Dragons by Stern

Good thing now, no need to panic buy, so plenty of time to make an informed decision, but it does look good value considering what's included on the Pro

Is it possible to buy the art blades separately if you buy a premium?

As much as I love the LE I don't think I can justify another 25-30% just for some powder coating and alt art.

Yes absolutely, or mirror blades. You can also add a shaker, Expression speaker lights, upgraded speakers, invisiglass, powdercoat, all for probably <£800.

Bit more around £580 for the side system, £230 for the speaker lights, £110 for the shaker, speakers £110 (can get cheaper) ,powder coating not sure think it's £100 ish, mirrored back glass £300, invisiglass difficult to get £130 through Neil once a year if lucky. I would say between £1500 to £1800 if you have to import the glass. Still way more than half in savings, your basically paying £2,200 for a plastic plaque and now as there shipping first bragging rights and rather than waiting up to a year getting it.
Personally with the exception of Tron as it had an additional mech from memory, LE if you change around machines within a two, three year period dont not offer much value, however if you keep them long enough the depreciation is far less. I could put all those extras in a premium when I go to sell moat people don't think they add value, well it's most of the time not reflected in the price, where as the LE will command more. Your basically loosing £4k to £5k either way, just ones upfront on an LE the other is in a couple of years on the premium when you go to sell it.

I don’t think it’s gonna be a big seller for Stern this. So depreciation tends to go by how many in circulation. Could be quite a rare pin this..

I think it might do OK. I think they have done a great job with the theme and I it might bring in some new players.

I also think it will be great on location.

That's true, hard to predict but best case after the runs finished which probably in 3 + years and a little gap maybe £12k on an LE second hard still nearly £4k loss either way. A premium is £11, 800 I think. Best case £8k,, £4k loss. I can't see it ever going for £16 to £18k but who'd have thought pirates would so I'm guessing it's possible

I don’t actually like them on the games they do have them. I think it’s too much.
I've never seen them in person. I like the look of the expression speaker lights so took a plunge on them, figured I'd buy them once and keep them when I sell the Pin, same with shaker, speaker upgrades and Insider Connected.

As a teenager the game was mainly about solving problems through the use of horrific indiscriminate violence and theft and as such I would have preferred something a bit darker.

The call outs seem a bit naff. Maybe it’s better when you are actually playing.

You are going to die.
Now you are DEFINITELY going to die.
Oh... You are going to die.

Yeah that dragon needs toning down, he doesn't have to talk smack every single time he gets hit, he needs a few more voice lines if he is as those will get annoying quick.

Otherwise absolutely love the pro gameplay, feel like you don't even miss the trap door if the vuk is relatively the same shot, just miss the urgency, big fan!

One annoying thing with the pro....unless I've got this wrong....it doesn't have the pop up trap door mech to the dungeon, however as stern only make one playfield these days it just has a blank in it's place,. right in the middle of the playfield.

Does look like an interesting machine, I'm looking forward to playing one.
