X Men - and apparently people like it. (and me too now :))

One thing with the new update, i don't like the skill shot changes. Having to hold the left flipper in for the usual 3 skill shot options is annoying as if you forget to do it, you have no options..

Yeah, I don't understand why they've done that, I suspect it'll get changed again in the next update

I am loving the game even if can be unforgiving. But this is what makes you come back.
I love the shots but 2 shots to play a mode is too quick and gets repetitive. Same for the future.
Mode start should be 3 different shots and future maybe 3 or 4 modes to make it more special. Similar to DC or Austin cities in FF.
We talked about this with Kevlar at PBR and coincided on these thoughts.
Still in my honeymoon. Added mirror blades, shaker, flipper titans in blue. Looks awesome.

Number of shots needed to qualify modes does increase the more modes you do. Modes 7 & 8 need 4 unique shots so you cant just spam your favourite shot for those.

Agree that the future mode is too often, it really isn't as fun as I think they thought it would be. I was doing the modes to qualify the best perks for the future first but it doesn't really seem to make that much difference so I'm just doing 3 easy modes first now to get the first extra ball.

There is a sort of mini wizard mode in at the end but there's nothing to it, no animations or instructions or anything and I've only got to it by draining out of the final future mode.

Was that save the city? I had that 2 times so far I think

Modes wise I tend to choose the ones I like best regardless of game perks lol. The future music is cool to .

The instructions at the start of future needs to go or be reworked/succinct. Thought I was playing a spooky when that hot mess of words popped up, urghhhh 🤣

No it was Save Senator Kelly. Save the city is my favourite mb but the one I get least.

I've played Save the city a few times but not sure how it's qualified?
Me either! Tilt rulesheet says each shot twice but no idea if that’s right as I don’t seem to get it as often as you’d think if so. Doesn’t seem to be anything visually tracking it yet either

After fitting the kit my manual plunge is near 100% 🙂. My auto plunge is still iffy but that's probably down to me having messed about with the auto plunger so I'll try and get that right again.

One thing to note, the lower of the holes in the inlane plastic is VERY tight on the post, it was difficult to get it off. It would be easy to break the plastic so be careful. I levered it off the post with a large screwdriver.

After spending quite a bit of time on the auto plunger I'm pretty happy with it now. I don't think it's ever going to be 100% though. In my opinion the mech is just too flimsy, with the design of the shooter lane as it is, it needs a perfectly straight launch every time to get all the way around, anything else and just won't make it.

Same as @Jib

100% on manual plunge and 0% on auto plunge now lol
I investigated a bit more, I pushed the ball through slowly with my finger and saw it was getting stuck between the 2 metal guides, I could just let it rest there. This is before the ball even gets to the new piece so wasn't an issue with that, although I noticed you can also get it stuck on the new diverter piece at very low speeds which probably doesn't help. I adjusted the outer guide so the ball doesn't get stuck anymore but unfortunately it's made no difference at all, thought I'd found the problem. I may try a stronger coil but will see what stern say first, if they're even responding to UXM messages anymore, probably sick of them 😂

Let me know if you manage to fix it please Kirk

I had to adjust the position of that new top plastic fix/bodge twice as was getting balls stuck there.
I'm not sure the diverter piece is going to last in games played a lot, seems like a temporary fix, or not a fix at all for some of us!

I can't quite make out how your ball is getting stuck there, is it under the ramp?

I had to twist that plastic bodge piece to stop the low power balls sticking there, mine is now twisted outside the edge of the original plastic below it, to open up that gap enough that the ball doesn't get stuck.

It's stuck between the ramps 2 side guides, they weren't far enough apart. Not touching anything above it

That's strange, has the new guide piece that's tucked behind the inner ball guide pushed the guide outwards? None of that should move, is it loose?

Twisted so the new piece is over the bottom screw that wasn't removed? I'll have a play with it some more but there wasn't a lot of wiggle room with it needing it go round the hex post, line up with the top screw hole you remove and re add and needing to go the correct side of the metal guide.

No, I think it's probably always been like that, it was getting through there on plunges but just not when being slowly pushed through. I think a lot of people may have this issue which is why loosening that bottom screw improved the launches for some people because it loosened that outside guide
