The "Today I received" Thread

There seems to be a lot of love for the earlier machines lately.
And with good reason there are some crackers among them.
Keep up the good work chaps.
 
Yeah but you're forgetting something: Will is a champion knob end. Any of those games you just listed that doesn't play a nice first ball will be sent immediately to purgatory ie to Tatty's shack. Or sold instantaneously.

I love Will and would gladly bear his children. In my leg though, not anywhere else. Anyone who knows him may read the above and comment on the likelihood of TVWB next week having in his house BOP GL and FG and disagree with me.

Hahah I went insane over a two week period ... You forgot POTC gaz ;)

Dan what you fail to realise is I have to put the cash back in from games as soon as they are sold, otherwise the wife gets wind of cash in the house and will make me pay of some of the credit card or try and use it for **** things like a downstairs toilet, I nearly lost it all to a patio a while back luckily @Matt Adams gave a stupidly high quote and that idea was luckily mothballed.. One day I will have a bigger room and all the children can come home :)
But yes I must admit I love the hunt for games sometimes more than playing them, but then I have been playing and collecting for waaaaaaaaay to long , and like any hobby it goes in stages.

But yea your right as soon as I turned on GL and it didn't work the excitement kinda went, it's an addition I think we can all relate to, it's a bit like any junky trying to get the same hit the first time they jacked up , same thing different poison ;)
 
Got these PinballPT edge protectors for my Hook. Never had cliffys so can't compare but service delivery and product all good. They are in Portugal so no chance of nasty customs surprises.

After a bit of a search and then some negotiating with the seller in the USA I've finally received my JD reactor 3 playfield plastic. I paid $30 U.S. or around £20. Now I need a reasonably priced topper!

Just looking now at decals not sure to go original purple or something different? @Matt Adams is gonna make her look super sexy and with the new 2.0 kit on its way , super stoked about this one :)

I screen grabbed those decals from a thread over on pin side , I have asked about but to no avail :(
Contacted a few places in Europe as well to see if they can do them and waiting on a few respnnses so far one Pinball PT can't do them so the hunt is still on, anyone else with any ideas would be good... If I get any info moose i will post it up

Fecking springs. I hate pulling and pushing those bastards. They always fly off and disappear under the fridge. I need one of these to bash my springs into shape. I just bought a bunch of roto target and score reel springs so I will get one of these and have at em. Damn springy bastards.
 
The perfect storm: package from Pinball Rescue in Australia and package from Pinball Resource in USA. Old EM pop bumper caps, flipper rebuild kits, bumper rebuild kits, coin bar, repro roto cover, roto decals, a Cow Poke plastic set, a weird and frankly disturbing red thing I don't remember ordering that looks alarmingly like some form of butt plug, all in plastic bags with obscure part numbers, and lots of those damn springs. I think I'm gonna need a bigger house...stuff.JPG
 
I cant think of 2 machines that belong together more than these two!

Great result for you, enjoy one of the best machines ever made :thumbs:
 
I only have room for 2 machines, so made it my mission to go for quality over quantity. My next title on the grail list is Tron, patiently waiting for the VE announcement, maybe next year, or possibly sooner going by people's thoughts on GoT :rofl:

New toy. Well, second hand from eBay to replace the one I was borrowing! Only been used a few times, not a mark on it, and only one sanding drum shows any signs of wear.
