The "Today I received" Thread

Courtesy of @Rav an very sexy HUO oh and now of course garden use star trek pro , with a bucket load of awesome mods ....
What a cracking game image.jpg

It's got a bird of prey , some cool shooter lane led thing , a crystal flashing type thing , backboard decals flashing speaker lights and a load of other cool looking bits which are all in the coin box will have a look later

Looks like Rav went mental and bought every mod that mezel mods over in America make ;)
Some funky stuff here... Although if it wasn't fitted by Rav chances of it getting fitted by me are slim to zero as I suck at this stuff :(

Is that bit at the bottom that says TRAIL DRIVE on it supposed to look like the rear end of a woman wearing stockings? 10 points for the hole I guess.

Those 2 mushroom shaped things below the bottom pop bumper, are they targets of some sort? Dont know much about EMs and never seen those things before.

Thanks

Actually never thought of it like that but pic cut off there it certainly does. Have you been spending time with @cooldan as that is the sort of thing he would see

Bigger pic below, but playing the game will never be the same again thinking of that image!!

Yes they are targets, couple more on top right and left but that is all I know. Hit them to complete the letters and think they keep scoring as well.

They're called mushroom bumpers and they're a target/switch. There's a spring inside them so if you pull up on the top bit it will spring back down. When the ball hits them it's directed up (the bottom has a slope and there's a rubber under the top) which pushes the top bit up closing the switch. Think pop bumper switch but kind of in reverse

@Steve C - is there some sort of animated feature in the cave area on the backglass? Condition looks great, nice find! I know two people on here (me and @astyy!) who are thinking about tinkering with an EM next...

Yes, "Shoot The Cat", if you get ball in either top middle or left hand side gate you then get a knocker/double knocker sound and cat spins round, usually horizontal but sometimes ends up vertical.

Today I received my very own JP, at long last! It looks in a pretty good condition. Dropped in at Chief for a few games on the way home from collection as well. It's been a good day!
