The eBay Auctions / Facebook / Gumtree / Shpock 2024 thread

Oh dear, things are turning desperate.
It only cost me an arm (not a leg)

IMG-20240609-WA0011.jpg

Dislocated the AC bone and calcification of the muscle to boot.
Too many restorations and lifting.
I'm sorry 😢 Ah, different injury - I broke the 'greater tuberosity' (the fat top bit) of my humerus in several places. The shoulder's now frozen.

Apologies for the OT.

Dang. Sorry to hear that . Those wide bodies are heavier than a neutron star . I always prayed for my back when setting one up
My own fault. The guy selling had a small 'French door' and being a wide body it was getting caught on the frame.

It had a deep step down and he suddenly dropped it towards me so I took the full weight (backbox end) at elevation. I took the weight as I didn't want to damage the house and my whole right arm spasmed.

What I didn't know at that point is that I had torn my muscles and popped my AC bone out of alignment.

It's a lot better now but Saturday had to be the most pain I've ever exhibited in my life.

I've had eye surgery, my jaw dislocated and muscle cut open and it was nothing compared to this.

Next time I just let it hit the house 🤣

Mate i feel for you. Never trust someone else that's carrying something. The other year i had a log burner dropped on my big toe and i was wearing Onitsuka Tiger trainers (so i might as well of been bare footed) needless to say a few choice words were said and my toe broken.
Under the tap and taped to the other toe, jobs a good 'un :)

My son and I restored them. Majestic Pinball

My son and I restored both, we have been restoring machines for some time.
Unless I've been newly adopted I'm not sure why I'm tagged in this as have nothing to do with these 2 machines but they are both phenomenal and I can also vouch for Johns excellent cabinet/woodworking skills 👍🏻

I've always fancied one of these... But not for that price!
You're best looking in Europe then. A nice one, 'refurbished' and available in UK is a rarity indeed as most owners never sell on. Bear in mind he could ship it over to the US and get a lot more than his BIN price.

Part of why I like them is because they were undervalued. Glad they're now being appreciated as they deserve 😍

That’s Harry Bolt . He always starts at top dollar . I doubt he will sell on here anymore as there always seems to be a ‘drama’ with his sales :rofl:
I get my full name eh, honoured 😅 drama with my sales? news to me!
It’s funny I’ve had what, like over 25 sales since I last posted on here with no drama, so seems like I don’t post FS on here due to OTHER people’s drama tbh 😁
Anyway the other comments are correct i start high and then accept a lower offer as I try not to loose too much £.
As I always try to have them serviced and referbed so it leaves in a state I’d want to receive them in.
For example I restored my 1972 Chicago Coin Coney Island recently, and sold last week to a very happy buyer. Even had a sale TODAY!
Anyway, Cheers!
