JJP GNR Pinball

Anyone want a GNR hoodie while I'm ordering? $79 each, so thats prob £80 here with vat and shipping at least, maybe £90

Into the data stream from a board that runs the hot rails. I’m not sure where the power is coming from to run the lights, People saying seperate power supply as not to overload the board.

but it looks to be similar to CE set up

You can tap the PSU before the board, which is exactly what JJP do for their topper.
 
So for those of us waiting for the boat, what are peoples plans ref washers ?

Wait and see what was fitted or order ahead and immediately start remedial work before playing ?

This does give us time to, as @Julian Hepworth says, have a chat about what washers people are thinking..

Pinside has given me a headache with how many opinions it has on washers.. I would just like facts..

I think I might go for PETG washers, with the metal washer on top..

Would Mylar rings be over kill?
Does @Colywobbles make PETG washers!?
 
I’m gonna be doing all the remedial work before I play a game- washers, Cliffys, TITAN rubbers and checking all the flipper mechs underneath

How big a job is it, getting to all the riskiest posts? Is the upper pf going to be a nightmare?
Putting a Cliffy on the scoop gives me the heebie jeebies too.

Mad to be contemplating all this nonsense before even playing a game.
 
Apparently cliffy install on the centre scoop is a nightmare and a good few hours..

Not sure on the other posts, the ones that seem to pool are the posts by the jets, upper playfield and somewhere else.. I can’t remember.
 
I’ve not been following it that closely but my gut feeling is that chances are metal washers will move the problem eventually , so PETG make more sense ?
 
Yeah that centre scoop cliffy looks like great fun to install.
Why JJP didn’t cover the front 🙄
Deep down I know washers won’t work but to try and help I’ve ordered some silicone dampening washers.
 
Where from @Sako-TRG? I did find silicone washers with adhesive backing.. was thinking about those..

Several people have put the PETG washers on and have said they have had no further pooling or chipping.. not sure which size they have put on though.

Pinballlife is where they are buying them from… Maybe Phil has bought some as nice surprise for G&R customers and will send them out…😂
