JJP GNR Pinball

It could be written off as selling out on his vision but if Slash did approach them and ask them to make this machine then it would be an opportunity worth taking.
Time in business and those external factors might well have also changed his view.

There is a child friendly setting and I would need to see more of the machine to know if all the skeletons and images are suitable. Given that I explained my hip replacement operation to my pre-schooler but getting out a halloween skeleton which she then made her friend, my daughter now looks for skeleton in games like Addams and is fine.

But Paul owns so few of the Beatles songs and they are such a money maker, I can only imagine how many estates and organisations would want their pound of flesh.
Good point.

That said, these are crazy times in pinball and rock and roll - who would have thought the original GnR would reform, a second pinball machine would be made about them, and it would be from the people that brought you WOZ .

Not me, at least.

One thing I can guarantee is the Beatles won’t reform that’s for sure.

I'm curious how Jack Guarnieri truly feels about this game.

When WOZ was being produced I had a slightly disappointing exchange with him about his vision for JJP game themes. He was very keen to make machines that appealed to the whole family, steering clear of anything remotely edgy. I think I used CC and BBB as an examples at the time. I guess he certainly started as he meant to go on.

WOZ <-> GnR2 is quite a change of direction .

So what changed ? External investors and a dilution of control ?

Ironically my 18 year old daughter and her friends cannot wait for it to arrive.
What a time to be alive.

Julian
I think what has changed is they are now at game #6, they started family friendly and from what is rumored to come next they are back to that modus operandi.

If GnR becomes their best seller, which it stands to do then I bet we will see more like it from JJP.

An absolute pinside Classic here, Stern fanboys trying really really hard to pick fault with GnR, i have a AIQLE ordered but this post lost me at GnR has no interesting ramps...FD65076C-951A-4A02-90A9-582DED182ADC.png

I was just browsing Pinside which is a relatively rare thing these days. What a ****ing mess that forum is. I know the numbers here are tiny in comparison but we're super lucky to have such a reasonable community (and Neil).

Haha sorry Neil I kid of course. But yeah this place is awesome

Someone on pinside in one of the many GnR threads has posted screenshots from the GnR forum where non pinhead GnR fans are losing their sh1t over the cost of this memorabilia!!! They're all complaining they don't have 12.5k for a pinball machine and pinside arw all complaining there's not enough 12.5k pins to go around lol!!! What a world!

Where am I going to put G&R.. Trying to shoehorn games in at the minute..

Puzzle - Cabin is 6mX4m.. take off insulation so it’s more like 5.30m x 3.7m

I have 5 Stern games down 1 side- they fit because they are 71cm wide

I have 4 games along back wall - JJP & B/W

2 on the right wall image.jpg

and 1 here

Anyone any ideas as to how I could squeeze G&R in somewhere..

Next to Afm, In front of the door. Crawl in and out of the pinshack. Simples....

That works! But let’s add a little style to that idea and save Daves knees, skateboard on a pulley system, problem solved!

Looks like afm is at the door ready to leave?
What about all in the middle in two rows? a row facing the door left to right with another row behind facing the back wall I.e
AAAAAA
