JJP GNR Pinball

Good luck trying to enforce that with Sales Law after the fact.
Some of the yarns on Pinside are just too funny.
What about the peeps who purchased for friends and family.

I think your right about the playfield LEDs - no more holes drilled.
Someone posted JJ from game exchange had cancelled a CE and limited everyone to 1, at least they are trying which is good for collectors looking for a CE.

People will complain about anything ..........
This GnR looks frikin ammmmazzzzzzzzbaaaalllsssssss
I want one but holding back for that elusive, unobtainable CE to pop up!

Edit: What's with the guitar hero noises and slot machine . lol...........
The best one on pinside from the Stern Army is “man GnR is too packed there’s gonna be no flow on that compared to a stern” hahaha

Ive only played one once and really enjoyed it however like the theme implies it did seem a little sickly sweet. For anyone not having stood over one in person and played it it a beautiful thing IMO and as with all JJPs the light shows are to die for.
Its a one of these days pins for me and on the list

Cheers Col. All this GnR talk has got me fancying a JJP game. Might try a Wonka or a Dialed In

I love my Wonka LE, admittedly it was my first machine so I'm a bit biased, but it will be with me for life I reckon. Bar one very minor, almost cosmetic, issue on arrival, which Phil helped me get sorted very quickly, it has been rock solid ever since. I feel like I am always taking the glass of GB to fix something, but I honestly can't remember the last time I took the glass off Wonka.

Not much love for Wonka?
Wonka is a great game, the flow and depth are first-class, Lawlor at his best. It's a toss-up between Wonka and Dialed In, both are great games that offer different things, some weeks I just turn on Wonka, then its Dialed In. So hard to say which is better.
I'm not really a 'theme' guy, as I dislike Wizard of Oz but love the JJP game, Dialed In meh its an OK theme (I'm not like Pinsiders that moaned about it based around a phone, so what) but its a great game, Wonka also not really my 'must have theme' but equally a great game.

Guns and Roses as a band I can take them or leave them, but the game looks freaking awesome.
As for it being loads of multiballs? So what its in a home environment so its meant to be fun.
Like @Colywobbles said, Hobbit has loads of multiballs and I love that game so much fun to play and so immersive, I know there are haters on it but maybe you have not really got into the Hobbit to appreciate it.

Looking forward to getting and playing GnR.

I knew this was coming "terrible sellers remorse" I just knew it. If you really want it back I'm sure your buyer wouldn't mind selling it back to you at 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑

I don’t think there will be anyone getting 2 ce
Hi have heard of distributors get only a third of there allocation
As of the 600 rgb lights I think there is some very careful wording there
As for potc I had one for months a never played it I found it hard too complicated and boring I think the only reason there seems to be so much interest at the min that a few people showing interest and they are pretty rare

Really? I didn’t notice anything funny or careful about either time Eric spoke about the games lighting.

During the SDTM featurette where Eric pretty much says it how it is at around the 8:30 mark and pretty sure again he mentions it in the SAPS podcast that they are in the topper, back and cabinet lighting.

I feel a bit sorry for the design team that has had their limelight soured a tad over the CE fiasco.
All that hard work and the main talking point is “where’s my CE”! (fair enough)
Now, one would think make another 250?
750 CEs doesn’t sound too bad to me.
Those who already have one, may feel a bit sore but what can they do, pull out?
The toughest bit of this would be getting the band to sign the other 250 cards......
May have to ship a cattle prod though otherwise it could take 12 months 👍

Edit:- So is it def that no more will be made or what??

I've never understood why those who managed to get one would be sore if they made more CEs. Did they only by them for their exclusivity or did they buy them for the extra features?

Now if you wanted a CE but they were sold out, ordered an LE and then they release more CEs then that would be annoying.

I don’t think it’s fair to the purchasers of the ce to do any more and if they did it once then there trust would be broken you could always get an le anyway and 90% that didn’t get a ce probably will so no skin off jjp nose
I don’t think past ce from jjp have come close to selling 500 I think the potc and wonka where done on a time thing you had about a month to get your order in and once the time was surpassed then they produced that number

Exactly what I’m a little worried about.
If I have an inkling it’s likely Jack will cave in and do more and I order LE then it would be sods law.
POTC had 250 - they all sold
Wonka - 500 - they didn’t sell
GnR - 500 only because they though they may/may not sell - silly JJP 😂
I got this from Lloyd at JJP few days ago....they were reviewing the interest on Pinside BTW.

That LE looks very close in quality to the CE. I'm positive anyone who gets one will be very happy and a couple of grand richer.
I went pretty much pre-reveal contacting Phil on the day it was announced, theme wise it hits the spot and I was stoked. I took the chance without playing which is something I’ve promised never to do but hey the wife has gone half’s with me so kind chance worth taking I guess.
I said to myself if I don’t get a spot on the CE then I’ll wait as I was sure there would be loads of LEs well into next year but with the hype train still gaining speed I’m not so sure anymore. I’d love to know how many LEs have been sold. WOZ aside I think this will be there no1 seller as it Seems to be transcending the Pinball market.

I'm curious how Jack Guarnieri truly feels about this game.

When WOZ was being produced I had a slightly disappointing exchange with him about his vision for JJP game themes. He was very keen to make machines that appealed to the whole family, steering clear of anything remotely edgy. I think I used CC and BBB as an examples at the time. I guess he certainly started as he meant to go on.

WOZ <-> GnR2 is quite a change of direction .

So what changed ? External investors and a dilution of control ?

Ironically my 18 year old daughter and her friends cannot wait for it to arrive.
What a time to be alive.
