Early reviews from those that have played it say it is multi-ball heavy.Someone told me there are 26 multiballs on the game, I knew then it was unlikely I’d want to own one
Just started watching the gameplay footage, he started a multi-ball 5 seconds after starting the game!
This is a rock concert under glass ……… Best music pin out there and I’m not a GnR fan I just love the integration
Sounds great doesn’t it! Pretty sure I remember hearing Eric maybe Keith on the SDTM featurette that you can turn any mode/song into a multiball locking them on the Gibson head ball lock, up to 6 balls, if I remember that right it could be super cool especially if coded to add more risk/rewardEarly reviews from those that have played it say it is multi-ball heavy.
I can see too many multi-balls becoming a bit tiresome after a while though. You should have to earn them and they should feel special.Sounds great doesn’t it! Looks like a work of art.
Is it fun to play though? I played Maiden about 20times last night, and would've played it a 21st time if i wasn't going out... mostly fun (a few cheap drains) and definitely a one more time game.
Nothing else, apart from Fish Tales bizarrely, is getting a look-in right now.Maiden is crazy good isn't it. I missed mine the minute it left.
Dunno, I really like multiballs, e.g. Stargate is lots of fun. But I get that they're not everyone's cup of tea.I can see too many multi-balls becoming a bit tiresome after a while though. You should have to earn them and they should feel special.
I believe there’s no extra LEDs on the CE playfield they are all related to the topper and cabinet lighting, I could be wrong but pretty sure that’s right, I’ve been reading and watching too much about this game. The light show for live and let die is something to behold. I’m a real sucker for a well choreographed light show. Bravo.
They say there are 300 more LEDs on the CE how many of these are play field related and how many are just the topper etc ?
^^^ Nice but shame its MPEG1.....I just see loads of pixels
realife play check it out
Good luck trying to enforce that with Sales Law after the fact.I believe there’s no extra LEDs on the CE playfield they are all related to the topper and cabinet lighting, I could be wrong but pretty sure that’s right, I’ve been reading and watching too much about this game.
It was posted yesterday that JJP are working with distributors to make sure only 1 CE per person to limit flippers buying multiple CEs, great move by JJP if true.
Got to drive to Manchester in a min and not watched the Stream - does it show adult mode anywhere?I’m personally avoiding streams, pinside is full of the Stern Army trying to pick faults through them. “Oh too many multiballs” doesn’t shoot as good as Wonka“ The problem is the ones trolling are the ones who have never seen or played in person and I think this has to be stood over and actually played to experiance what JJP have captured
As for multiballs one of our favourite pins here is Thobbit and both me and the little fella love the fact you have a constant stream of them which makes them fun not frustrating. He would often walk away From BM66 and rarely ever played it due to the fact the ball locks were stupid hard for him to get and most of the time me too.
Before anyone’s says the 2 ball chicken fest is an easy option that didn’t cut it either hence the reason Thobbit stays and BM66 is long gone.
I usually go a little flat after I purchase a NIB as the initial excitement of buying fades away but for the 1st time ever I’m still stoked and can’t wait to put it in adult mode crank this baby like Marty mcFlys Giutar amp and rock the neighbourhood “Quite literally”
Age old problem not just with pinballs many sectors suffer right down to the latest must Have toy for kids at xmas. These fkers enjoy seeing kids suffer and revel in the fact they sold X number of them and made crazy money. Cluntz the lot of em.Good luck trying to enforce that with Sales Law after the fact.
Some of the yarns on Pinside are just too funny.
What about the peeps who purchased for friends and family.
I think your right about the playfield LEDs - no more holes drilled.
Ive only played one once and really enjoyed it however like the theme implies it did seem a little sickly sweet. For anyone not having stood over one in person and played it it a beautiful thing IMO and as with all JJPs the light shows are to die for. What happened with Wonka. I haven't got to play one. I love the theme. Is the game crap?
He puts it into adult mode after about an hour of play. I haven't watched that far yet but he says he's going to do that anyway. I'll be watching the stream tonight or tomorrow night.Got to drive to Manchester in a min and not watched the Stream - does it show adult mode anywhere?
