I thought bulb went under?Bulb have set up a virtual queue - told me there would be a 2 minute wait. Didn't time it, but it certainly didn't take king til I could enter my readings.
Nope, the lights went outI thought bulb went under?
Too many customers for the other companies to take on, so it's being run by the administrators/receiversI thought bulb went under?
One of Britain's biggest energy suppliers, EON, has blamed financial expert and money saving expert Martin Lewis for "bringing down Britain" and causing "unprecedented demand" on energy supplier websites.
Apparently Octopus have an app, but you need 8 arms to use it.Installed the phone app and managed to submit readings on there after a couple of attempts. So if anyone else is struggling that's an option.
Defo a scam. My 11 year old daughter just got sent the same message. They’re persistent, I’ll give em that
Agree there is nothing untoward here but still a little surprising that the large energy suppliers don't have more elastic set up to cope was a spike in demand it makes them look unprofessional IMO.I also understand why the system would go down, I wouldnt want to massively scale a meter reading system just for a single day
Probably no point spending all that $$$ on infrastructure for one day?Agree there is nothing untoward here but still a little surprising that the large energy suppliers don't have more elastic set up to cope was a spike in demand it makes them look unprofessional IMO.
I'd argue more like 70%.....and then remember that 50% of the population are dumber than that.
Too kindI'd argue more like 70%.....
yes, mine hasn't changed either.Checked my 'smart' meter.
Unit rate and standing charge not yet changed.
Anyone else?
you probably fixed on a special tariff ?I thought Octopus were supposed to be £50 under the price cap, the rate and standing charge for your electric are higher than what I'm paying at EonNext.
Nope standard variable after Symbio went titsup last year.you probably fixed on a special tariff ?
