I told her how much they have gone for on ebay and this forum and so she may of lowered her expectations

He's not sure if it needs collecting within 3 days or not though......

I'd love one of those. When I first got involved in Pinball it was DMD, DMD, DMD - now I know better and I learnt the errors of my ways. It's really great fun to play that one and the music is also incredibly catchy.

I'm glad there's wear between the flippers and it's on the South Coast to stop me clicking that button......

Chris Brim's? No, couldn't afford to buy outright with other expenditure at moment. Can't believe so many have come up so close together after looking previously for months....

Was half tempted to get it and ask you to "look after it" until I get my garage upgraded to games room status :)

STTNG glut on ebay, seems like everyone is trying to sell one and cash in on the price correction (at least 4 for sale)

Surely they can advertise at what price they want. Of course if it doesn't sell then it's all a bit pointless.

There are only two types of people I can think of that would drop £3k on a STTNG. Those that really really want one badly and there is a shortage of supply (which I don't think there is) or someone who has no idea about what it's actually worth. Personally if i'm spending £3k on something then I would ALWAYS research it first, but hey, maybe i'm just more cautious than most.

Which one Chris' or the one on Ebay? If the latter, of course I'll oblige. ;) The former has sold I believe.

Chris' - It looked in decent nick and obviously he's local and pretty well-known. Not sure I'd want to get one off eBay blind as yet. Too many horror stories.

Plus I'm also trying to avoid turning this into a money-eating obsession, although I'm not sure I'm anywhere near winning that one as yet...

To be fair though he does everything possible to resolve any problems amicably or has done in my case, a problem is only a problem if it remains unresolved.

Hi. If anyone is thinking of bidding on these backglasses, I would be interested in having the paragon glass if anyone wants to split it.

I've contacted the seller and he's not willing to split it.

I'd be up for that Gaz, I want the Flash Gordon one... Who wants the Jungle Lord?
That Paragon glass does look sweet! Doesn't look like there's any flake or blistering on the backside. I'm guessing Jungle Lord will be the hardest to shift? Maybe they know Paragon and FG would be snapped-up, so selling as a job lot almost guarantees shifting the JL glass.

Nice looking Vector. If I hadn't just bought that Space Station I'd be tempted...

Playfield is in good nick as it's had a full mylar fitted. Not surprised to see the upper-right flipper is wrong! It should be a mini-flipper like the upper-left (manual has the wrong part code). Missing 7th flash could mean PIA U10 (6821) is bad, or there is no +43 volts DC for the solenoids (power transformer fuse F4 is probably blown), or U14 is bad. Flickering displays means something is up with the +190VDC regulator. Nothing insurmountable. I wonder what it actually went for in the end?

I wonder if some Vectors had a small upper right flipper and some had a big one fitted in the factory?

The Vector I used to own (was Dave Rolfe's) had a big flipper, I can't remember what my current one has (in storage, I'll check when I'm next there) and if you look on google images there seems to be a mixture of sizes.....though it's often difficult to see looking up the playfield as tucked away on the upper level! The ipdb pic shows a small one.

It would be interesting to know what other Vector owners have!
