Oh well, there's another 20,000 knocking about.
Wish I was into it 15 years ago. I would have quite easily taken any amount in , I'm looking for some more doer uppers. This one is probably way past that ! Quite hard to find any at the moment , any suggestions ?People forget that 15 years ago before the internet started bring pinball back to everyone, lots of machines were being given away or destroyed because they didn't have any value or storage space for them. Repairing them was also a big problem with so few people knowing electronics.
Watch and weep. Lot of Gottliebs in there... that BAD GIRLS didn't look any worse than my GOLD BALL Todd was probably correct in saying there was no commercial value in the machines but I can't believe they weren't at least suitable for stripping. None of them looked like they couldn't have been restored unlike the soggy TAF we're currently discussing!
And this too:

Seriously who is bidding on that pile of turd?
I bid 150 in it as I thought it was worth a dabble to try and rebuild it as I have plenty of spares and a reasonable knowledge. To me, anything much over that is insanity, the DMD is knackered, the boards likely similar and the work involved is extremely time consuming.
I've raised something vaguely similar from the dead, but it was nowhere near this level. If someone ends up with it for £500, I imagine they'll be out of their depth and into a LOT of cash.

(I made an offer of 10,000 pence)
That's the machine I sold him 2 years ago for £5000
Do you think ?Oh well, there's another 20,000 knocking about.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TERMINATOR-3-PINBALL-MACHINE-/261609448923?pt=UK_Video_Games_Coin_Operated_MJ&hash=item3ce92365db T3 just popped up starting at 99p. Not sure what is going on with the 2 flipper buttons smack bang on top of each other though.
That's normal placement for a UK machine with skillposts.
It might have had side armour retro-fitted so the holes are hidden, have a look from inside the cabinet.
The T3 owner is hoping to get £1800 what she said she paid for it. dr pinball and I have done some work on it inc fitting a new dmd and ball shooter coil and associated transistor.
She will also be selling a no fear in near future. Both pins are from an american diner thats now closed down.
