Have to say the bat-style rails in glitter black with red pinstriping look super hot on this model! Is this the top of the range SLE?

I find the whole Pro/Premium/LE/SLE/Vault thing so confusing. To me Pro sounds better than Premium. It's like ordering a coffee in Starbucks. Why Short, Tall, Grande and Vento when Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large are something everyone just understands implicitly.

I suppose if Stern adopted this policy the games wouldn't sounds quite so dazzling:
  • BATMAN 66 Light
  • BATMAN 66 Standard
  • BATMAN 66 Super
This list could also be re-named as:
  • BATMAN 66 Oh, Where Are All The Toys?
  • BATMAN 66 Still Missing Most Of The Cool Toys
  • BATMAN 66 The Game Everyone Actually Wants And Wishes Was The Only Model Available And Just Called BATMAN 66

Like the projecting topper. Can't see past the theme as even as a kid I loathed the batman shows.

Any footage yet of how the LCD interacts with ball play?

I don't think these are really playable yet. LCD looked like it just had a reel running on it for the tour purposes. That with spelling mistakes and some obviously quickly hashed together translite and cabinet art means this was probably going to be revealed later, but they felt they had to hurry it along to have something other than playfield issues and Facebook comment purging to compete with JJP#3.

Gary did comment on the play field issues and says they will resolve all issues by end of February

yes the game software isn't done.

Here is a video I shot whilst George Gomez was talking about the table...

More pandering to the older collectors that supposedly have oodles of cash to blow on crap themes that only they care about.

Not quite. Its just one age area of a collector group where the most money is, but i get your point. Hopefully, they will one day pander to my elderly needs, when i have oodles of spare cash to fling at themes no one else cares about but me. :D:D:D

Those pics are fantastic BTW, good job. Nice to see the new machines in such great detail.

How the bloody blue blazes do they justify the price of this when it is just a rehash of an existing game ?

Played this again at lunchtime. I must be missing something here as I think it's shocking. Sparse playfield, terrible shots and just not fun. The build quality is one of the worse pins I have encountered. It really feels like a 'toy'. Feels light, tinny and like things haven't been screwed together correctly on the playfield.

Anyone agree?

This game has been a staple of my collection now for years, TWD has come and gone (even in LE flavour) yet this game always puts a smile on my face. Incredibly deep rule set, a million ways to play it with the minor and major villains, crazy options with villains and end of minor villain set multiballs, nice long ball time. Muah.

This wasn’t a great game but still unlocked so much.

I bought an LE and hated it from day one and just didn’t give it a chance before selling on.
What a stupid decision after buying it again this time in CW flavour.
They games code is absolutely up there in the top 3 for me.
It has brilliant assets rarely seen to this extent on a stern pin and as for sparse and feeling like a toy I totally disagree but that’s pinball for ya.
One man’s meat and all that.
If you spent an hour playing with someone who understands the code you will change your mind as this game can be approached a number of ways which is what makes it timeless for me.

Mine won’t be leaving anytime soon that’s for sure.

Is weird reading what I wrote as I don't remember posting that. Reason being it was in 2017.

With the code updates I couldn't agree with you more. I absolutely love BM66. I hope to own one some day. Cracking game and just goes to show how magical Lyman was.

BM66 is pretty much the perfect game in terms of fun, theme, assets, call-outs, code and artwork. There are games with better shots, but can't think of a better overall package.

I will never sell mine unless financial circumstances force it.
