Paul you either try and run the open forum you want to or you change your moderation stance.
I’d appreciate it if you could start being consistent though - I know running a forum is tough but there is absolutely one rule for some and other rules for others.
Neil,
Having had a not-so-insignificant amout of my time taken up today with having to deal with this ****show, along with the other unpaid moderators, I'm going to highlight the following rule which is in the T&C's which you signed up to....
- <excess removed> Our moderation (in general) is NOT up for public discussion or to be questioned either. If you have issues with any member of the Pinballinfo Team, take it up in an email or PM.
Access to the community is a privilege, not a right, and members who continually breach these rules will find themselves limited or removed from the community, regardless of the other contributions they have made.
Yet again you have decided not only to launch an attack that is not "funny" (Seemingly only to you), you have also decided to tell us how to run our site.
For the record here, I am being consistant. Anyone else would have had the same warning. The difference is, instead of acknowledging that it could have been construed as being in poor taste for the individual/s involved, you decide to blame the people that run the site for your lack of empathy, which breaches the above rule.
For this indescression, I'm adding yet another warning - Inappropriate Behavior - which unfortunately for you means due to the point "totting up" process that everyone was advised about in March (see
https://www.pinballinfo.com/community/threads/forum-warning-system-now-in-place.52250/) you are "banned" from posting on this forum for 2 weeks - hopefully this will give you time to reflect on your actions.
Just to advise here as well - because you will now have been banned, it only takes one further infraction for that to become a more lengthy exclusion as per the above thread.
This is MY decision, based upon the amount of time that YOU take up for all the staff having to handle your intermittant, however common outbusts.
I have now removed the temporary lock on this thread - a note to all - please remember to keep discussions on topic
Thanks
Paul
