Who Fancies a New MM?

The LE's have sold out, but I think you can get on the waiting list.

The deposit was 1k with the other 5.5k due when the machines start to ship, expected to be around June/July (wishful thinking!).

A few have dropped out of the LE preorders and I bet there will be more when the final payment is due.

Don't think PPS are making the Standard edition until the end of the year.
I have asked to be put on the le waiting list

Must admit I came very close to dropping out as the initial excitement wore off. Glad I held on now the machine is almost ready.

Loads of info on the Pinside forum from Rick at PPS about the progress.

Yep looking forward to Predator, no date as yet but i'm somewhere in the first half of the production run.

So what is the total cost of a new Predator pin including shipping and tax etc to your door? And where do you buy them from :)

si

Well I'm pretty sure they'd make a rerun once they realise the interest and money to make.
So, just out of curiosity, how much in total were they new? Be nice to see a comparison with the ever increasing cost of a new stern.

I used to think that but in one of the current podcasts ( gameroom junkies, the pinball podcast etc, can't remember which one ) Kevin of skitB sounds pretty adamant there won't be anymore.

If MMR had be 2k less I would have jumped in. Way too expensive as it is, think they are taking the **** just because they can.

I was on the pre-order but dropped out. They are just under $5000 but add shipping plus 20% Vat on as well! Reckon the price will be a bit less than a Stern pro when all said and done.
They will definitely do no more - Kevin has said that and they already have a white wood of game number 2:)

Predator was a cheap machine but shipping will bump the cost up. It might be worth contacting Kevin about getting on the wait list. I suspect a load of people will drop out this month now that real money is involved. My understanding is that the licence is for 250 and can't be expanded later. Will be interesting to see what their next machine is.

With such a small run I can't see anyone dropping out and if you did want one then you would have to pay way more than the original price.
There's plenty on the waiting list so you would have to get in front of those people first.

Thought that about WOZ, if it turns out to be mediocre long term then they will be made available and potentially for less than the NIB price, sure plenty of buyers have purchased these on faith, Predator may end up being an average pin, remains to be seen how it pans out when they end up in people’s homes and/if the novelty wears off, very hard to know if a machine is a keeper after a few goes at a show, BOP is awesome for a few goes.

Thing is Predator is half the price of a Stern or a WoZ plus there are only 250 on offer worldwide. Even if it's not the best there will always be interest in it if only for the low production run.

I contacted Phil At PH. He was kind enough to tell me that we could use a contact he has. Ship one pin £600 ship 2-5 for £1000 I think it was. Any Pred pre orderers want to get in. That's some cheap shipping if we get 5!
