The "How much is this table worth" thread....

Sold my GB premium for £5850 in 2018. Then prices went crazy and now they’ve settled down again, but I guess not that far down yet.

I was just about to enquire about it but if that's the price nowadays I'm out.
I’m not 100% sure I want to move it on just yet, I wanted to see what peoples thoughts were on pricing. I know one sold at pinfest this year and one the year before and were both around what Dave suggested.

Hi All,

I've not bought or sold anything on the second hand pinball market for many a year, so a little out of touch on prices. so any thoughts...

I have a Gottlieb Operation Thunder that I bought around 10 years ago - was in a bit of a state.
Gave it a total strip down above and below the playfield.
All new star posts - including the siamese ones.
New flasher dome covers.
Old bubbling mylar removed - I did re add some on the top part of the playfield as some of the inserts were raised a little.
Got played quite a bit once it was back together, but then got moved in to the corner of the games room, so has spent most of the last 10 years under things and not being played!
Have recently uncovered the machine and it all works 100% and is surprisingly addictive!

Full disclosure...
I can't currently find the key for the back box - it did come with one, so hopefully it will turn up - but the back box is currently unlocked.
Translite is predominately good - but does have some 'wear' around the bottom corners of the display (at the words 'Gottlieb' and 'Premier')
It came with slightly taller legs than normal. Though this is the only Gottlieb I've ever owned so maybe they are correct - sits an inch or two higher than my other machines (may have a set of bally legs if it's a problem!)
Would come with a dozen or so spare flipper rubbers and an original Gottlieb OT manual (and I still have all the old star post!)

have attached a few photos from the strip down / rebuild - don't appear to have a fully populated playfield, but could get/add some if that would help.

Cheers
Geoff

I sold one 2 or 3 years ago that I totally stripped, rebuild kits on all the flippers, new flasher domes, posts, rubbers, all new lamps, machine polished the original playfield mylar and more. Spent quite a bit on new parts from Marco. Was in nice condition overall.

I sold it on here for £1800 and delivered it free (on the way to Pinfest). Prices have dropped since then and was sold straight after the strip down.

I think Gottlieb used 27" legs a lot in their games so sounds like this already has a set of standard length 28.5" legs, cant image it has Stern 30.5" ones on it otherwise you probably wouldnt be able to play as it would be hitting the ceiling by then.

Hi all looking to see what my fish tales is worth I've been offered something in a trade which I could be interested in but it could mean some money from my end hence this post.
FT is one Manny did a good few years ago and some of the older members will know he did top notch work, all armour has been re-chromed including caster and legs the only thing that hasn't been done is the coin door,it's got a colour dmd, full comet leds, full titan rubbers, side blades, alternative translight and probably other things, only negative is some wear on the playfield in the usual place but it has an overlay fitted here's some pics will be good to know what a few folks opinion is.
Cheers Brian

Same I'd say as DE Star Wars . Both have moved back to the 3k ish mark

Colordmd adds a little, standard pin2dmd are readily available sub £200 so l found when selling junkyard JD and SM , it's not seen as a big bonus just a nice extra.

Both games do better on eBay where theme pushes them upwards
