The "How much is this table worth" thread....

Worth 3k?
For the right buyer, yes.

This highlights the problem with trying to put prices on machines in this thread. Very little is discussed about condition. In my view condition should have a bigger impact on price than it has. Really the difference between a lower condition players machine and better condition machine should be much wider than it is. If i refurb a players machine I spend anywhere from £200 to e £500 on parts and between 50 and 100 hours depending on what needs doing. And the parts bill is without any mods leds cabinet decals playfields or ramps; it's just to replace the broken and damaged stuff. But people overpay for the trash and underpay for the nice stuff because that is where the market is. I bought 2 projects last year myself and overpaid for both of them because I wanted the machines and sellers wouldn't go any lower. There are quite a few high end sellers that do command a premium but there are a lot of sellers on here that love refurbishing and present some really nicely turned out machines and don't get the recognition for the £ and time cost of that. A lot of buyers on here would sooner pay £500 less for a bargain trashed players game that will take a lot more £ than that to get to similar condition. The real bargain is in the one that has already been gone through by somebody who really knows what they are doing.

I don't know this particular wwf but if Brian has gone through it and spent loads of time on it then it will be a bargain at £3K to the right buyer.

Totally agree, it a bit of a false economy. Nothing is cheap in pinball when renovating/restoring or just getting it working.
It’s a money pit in both parts and time the likes of which I’ve never come across before.
A restored pin is an absolute bargain compared to a rough one in need of restoration.

It's worth the 3k price for the nostalgia value alone and all the great wrestlers from my youth. I played the one in the hallway at Pinfest and was great fun.

Annoyingly, half the fun for me is fixing the things up!

Ok so lots of people like asking "how much is x or y table worth???". So... Here's a thread to ask those questions....

Please post these requests in here and not create a new thread asking, since those will only be moved to here anyhow....

This means that people who want to avoid these type of threads can do so...

Cheers

Hi. Just rejoined the site after many a moon. I've a Family Guy in fully working order with colour DMD. Bought it maybe 8 yrs ago now. Everything works, needs a good clean and bright LEDs, stickers are wirn and so are some of the plastics, only 1 is broken (unnoticeable with the magic of sellotape). Had it serviced 2 years ago when the left flipper got jittery.

What's the value? I paid £3500 I think

One was recently up in the for sale section for £3k, no idea how much it sold for though.

Sounds like £3300 with colour dmd, maybe a touch more if it’d been LED’d

How much do you guys think a the getaway high speed 2 is worth a friend of mine is selling one and am interested but not sure on the going rate for these - it’s been stripped cleaned and refurbished so in great condition

Very nice example 3.5k in 2023.
The pin market has dropped/slowed a lot in the interim.

If happily pay 3k for one in decent condition

That Fish Tales seems half finished. The cabinet is that nice it's worth chucking another £1000 at it to replace the playfield
