The "How much is this table worth" thread....

Actually my Ripleys came from the same guy via Niel F and it's in great shape. Neil did do just a little bit to it, fixed a sticky flipper and a few switches but other than that it's very good.

Does the guy have much bad feedback then? I know there was the one machine where the earth braid was hacked up but I don't think I've heard other horror stories?

Maybe quality of his machines has improved but think general advice is don't buy unseen from him - caveat emptor!

How much are sttng going for these days need to move mine on to get a van for work

Sorry that wasn't much help. There's one on eBay ATM with 2 days to go. You could see how that does then price your accordingly.

Surely it would depend on condition?

No-one should pay for 1800 for a micey STTNG. But maybe more for a belta.

I bought my JM from him. He ended up being a genuine guy who I would buy from again. I was a little wary after reading on his past sales, but all was well.

His knowledge 'seems' limited so ask for LOTS of pictures and details. He will oblige and answer any questions you have as well as not being offended by the law of the haggle. Imo, worth buying from as long as you know EXACTLY what you are buying.

Yeah, theres people popping up all over the place with new tech for pins. Its getting hard keeping up with them all.

I just realised that 64 switch matrix tester fits in the palm of your hand! I thought it was the size of a WPC board at first. lol.

Andy N was just here sorting out a few gremlins prior to selling , and was using a similar device on the lamp matrix for one of my games. If its good enough for The Legend ;)

Nice setup @Arv! I looked at the kit from pinitech too. All very nice, but too much for me just for 2 pins. I knocked up something using a few buttons and Veroboard.

Hi,

How much would a Last Action Hero go for?

Also are they hard to find?

Thanks!

Cheers,

Johnny

Last one on eBay went for a steal at 725 ish so expect to pay between that and 1k for a really nice one.

Fairly high run machine so not that rare.

Ace! Thank you Carl. That's loads less than I thought. Time to raise funds and or find someone willing to trade for some arcade games or neo geo aes games.

Cheers my friend,

Johnny

There are a couple of guys on the forum who have a LAH.
Give a shout out for one they might be willing to sell.
Don't pay more than 1k for one, defo sub 1k machine.

They all seem to suffer from the dreaded cab fade. Some folk do attempt to fix that though:

There's a last action hero featured on this vid. Might give an indication to its value :D:
