The "How much is this table worth" thread....

On skill posts, you can get rid of the extra buttons and use lollipop side rails to hide the cab holes.

Personally I don't think TSPP is worth as much as LOTR. I wouldn't pay more than 4k-4.5k for one.... A low plays HUO one tried to sell on here for 6k some months ago and basically got laughed at.
The very Simpsons you speak of was a close and dear friend of mine, he rang me several times distraught and couldn't understand why everyone seemed to be ripping his pin to bits on his sale thread when all he was trying to do was sell a pin!
I told him to remove the pin from sale and send the pics to me and ill have a word with @Gonzo to see if I can put it on the Chinwag FB page. I then got several offers on the pin including the full 6k without one comment of how it was overpriced or to be told its the less desireable Skill Post version.
When the buyer went to view the pin he was blown away by its condition and went on to send me a thank you PM for helping him source and put me in contact with my mate the seller.

For some reason Pinfo can sometimes bring out the worst in people and I was embarrassed myself as I was the one who sent my mate to list TSPP on there hence helping him out selling elsewhere.
Any Pinball is worth what someone is prepared to pay end of. However on pinfo if its too expensive it wont sell and get insults thrown at it and if its too cheap in goes in seconds.

The craziest part of this story is the fact on a well loved and faded TSPP which had been operated most of its life and had issues was priced around 4.5k if I remember right. It would be impossible to get that pin anywhere near my mates if you spent a further 2-3k on it yet it probably sold for the 4.5k it was priced at.
Same deal with @CHRIS B PINBALLS Batman he recently listed on here with almost no interest until my mate Billy rang me and asked my opinion which was ill ring Chris now its a no brainer.
This pin now sits in Billys collection and is an absolute work of art, powder coated with ColourDMD, all metals inc nuts, screws etc. etc. polished or replaced and it looks and plays like like NIB. This Batman cost Billy 4k yet a beat up with a multitude of issues went for about 3! Go figure.

Rant over don't shoot me please ❤️

Totally agree.

Not a rant at all, I thought the Simpsons price was fine. For me having played it again recently Im just not a huge fan of the layout, but to be honest the machine I played wasn't very good condition so that might have something to do with it. The couch is difficult to lock if the flippers and set up is off.

The price is the price, it's nice that some people on the forum have passed great savings to us, I'm especially grateful for this, but the endless bear pit, when a price is asked does grate. Personally I think this steams from the days when pins could be picked up for a couple of £100. Unfortunately those days are long gone ☹️🤔

I'm currently toying with moving on my LOTR but not looking forward to the barrage of abuse I'm going to get telling me it's only worth 4k 🤭😏😀🤔 and I can get one for £3k

Good evening all. I have a Monster Bash remake LE I am thinking of moving on. Just over 300 plays. Either outright sale or trade - perhaps AC/DC or GnR premium/LE. What would be likely value for sale or cash adjustments for trade?

One of the reasons holding me back from getting rid, is the very high build quality of the machine (made by Chicago Gaming) - much better than my Batman 66 from Stern which I like but which although technologically advanced with video clips from the TV series etc, seems quite flimsy with poorer quality playfield in comparison. I dont have much experience with the newer machines, having previously owned old Williams/Bally machines, but am I alone in my opinion of the Sterns?

Also for ref my huo gnr le sold on here a couple weeks back for 9.5k with topper, pinsound, mirror blades, custom shooter, AoP button surround

Some help please.

Been offered a DE GNR

Cabinet 7/10 with normal dings and dents,, flipper button wear, but lockdown bar and side rails need replaced or coated
Electrics are good
PF has 1 inch wear line outside the scoop which has been touched up along with about 20 very small chips in the PF paint, the size of a woodworm hole

Aware DE games are lower end price, but does the GNR theme change things

Any idea what the approx value is would be great, thanks

I've had 12 gnr but last one was 11 years ago. Most of those were exported as game was far more desirable overseas. 2 went to Australia!

What's an average BayWatch worth in todays market? standard dmd / no leds couple age related scratches etc.. they at 3.5k these days or that bit steep?

I’ve just got one so about £10k.

But seriously I think £3.5k is a tad steep. £3k maybe
@huggers just bought a nicer one so may have more of an idea. Mine was a dog and I’ve just spent a couple of hundred on parts/leds/rubbers etc..
every single bulb bar a couple were silvered. Rubbers shot. Star posts smashed, acid on the battery holder. I’ll put a shop log up soon. It’s taken me, no joke, about 200 hrs to clean the thick black filth off everything. The large wire form took 4 hrs to polish.

I know how you feel, just been doing the same to one I bought (black cab) recently that was pretty rough.
Shop log also coming soon though🤠

I reckon 3k is about where it's at now if it's vanilla/standard? More with extras and condition dependent? Something around there. It's an absolutely superb game. I recommend upgrading the flipper coils to the Pinball Life Data East GNR Ones. They make it shoot like an absolute beast. I recommend everyone join BAPS (Baywatch Appreciation Society) as founded by @Sgt GrizZ

Personally I would put an average DE G&R at £3-3.5k, a nice one at £4k+.

Condition is everything as they can suffer bad playfield wear from the scoop. Also (for me) what wireforms it has is worth considering as the early ones that deliver the ball to the roll overs have ball hang up issues especially during multiball. I have owned both types and the early one is a pain! Check the condition of the ramps also, the "G" ramp suffers the most, replacements are (or were) available but are expensive

Pinsound totally changes this game for the better also. IMO better than the Jersy Jack machine but I'm an old fart!
