I think this was the peak of our madness .
Picking up £300 Bad Girls from a very odd local seller - he couldn’t get us out of the house fast enough , had to carry game out on its legs and break it down on the drive , he just shut the door on us , strange 😅 - caning the wine , getting dolled up .
Good times 👌😁

TZ pick up postcode is that of Pinball Pleasure.

They have presumably same tz listed.on their site at priced to sell poa.
Sounds about right - the guy at PP was going to open a pinball museum and now isnt.
The Gorgar I have originally came from him. Was meant to be restored. My definition and his are apparently not the same. It wasnt incredibly bad or anything (though there were some teething troubles with it I recall) but I wouldnt have marked it down as restored. (If it was I wouldnt have a hard top and stencils to put on it :) )

Is £6k not about the going rate for a TZ ? Or is that expensive unless its mint ?

It's still a challenging w@nk.

going back to this DES, i looked a bit closer at the bidding and it stinks to me of shilling:

these 6....8 and 8...t people are, in my opinion, the same person trying to get a buzz going.
whether the overall 'winner' 5....a is genuine or not is up for debate, if they are then i agree with Luke that they thought it was TSPP and are now wringing their hands.
I agree. I bailed at £1,200. Anymore than that and good luck to whoever won it. I thought I could smell a touch of shilling.....#6 and #8, I agree.

Opinions wanted.... there's a Rollergames pinball on ebay currently on at £1600 and not selling. I could be interested as I don't need perfect as long as it plays. Why does anyone think it's not selling? Is it overpriced for what it is, or is it just not a popular game. TIA.

The theme is a bit marmite but def has its fans. It’s a solid game for the era designed by the legendary Steve Ritchie . Nails the theme with great music , sounds, lighting , some cool layout tricks. Fun game.

The big issue with this example , which may be deterring some buyers , is the playfield wear near the flippers 😬

Rollergames is a fun game and I have played it a few times as it is located in The Arkade Minehead where it has been sited for maybe 10 years. It played fine when I last played it but that was early Summer and you should always expect.some problems that you will need to fix even if it arrives without any. The owner is on here @Pool Shark if you wanted to contact him and try to make a deal.

I would say overpriced, I got one from eBay in very nice condition at the start of the year for £1400 with no other bidders on it.

I don’t think that can be PoolShark’s one, not the same guy as on here, as a few months back when I was after a RG, he wanted 3K for it and wouldn’t even send me pictures when I queried the price!

I think 1600 is a fair price if that flipper wear on the playfield is the only issue. Go and have a play on it. I love the game.

I think that RG with the playfield wear is £1200 tops. Especially if @Fantazia2 is saying he got a nice one for £1400. Let’s be honest. If it was priced correctly it wouldn’t be on the eBay merry go round for months on end.

Same seller .

2 different SF2 both selling at 3k 🤷‍♂️ The plot thickens 😅

And another still listed on his website, but that could be the one that just sold. Maybe hes got a warehouse full of them.

Looks cheap to anyone searching on eBay who isnt clued up as that other one has been listed at £5k for ages.

So you may remember a well known Blackpool scammer family that were always selling pinball machines.

One of their tricks was they would list the same machine under 3 different accounts at different prices to make the cheapest one look like a bargain

I think this has been posted in here before, pretty sure its been up for sale for a long time.

Yes, it was linked for our amusement by AlfonsoB last year. It could be argued there was nothing to lose re. the playfield; it was one of the odd ones with white lenses/inserts for the Special lamps on the ship and the outlanes.

The lamps across the ship are for the B-A-L-L-Y spellout feature; 10K, 25K, 50K and then Special, with that word alongside and an arrow towards the furthest right lamp. This seems to have been beyond the considerable abilities of the touch-up artist.
