according to the post on Pinside there are a potential 15 places that might open up next week from people who haven't paid their deposits. Maybe you've got a chance after all...

I heard that 30 people havent made contact regarding the deposit, so come 15th march (the deadline for the deposit) there may well be a few spots up for grabs.
