Hi, I'm Daniel. A little under a year ago I came across the Pinball Map, which helped get me into pinball properly given the opportunity to actively seek out locations with machines. I ended up having a random chat at my local, Mortal Kocktail in Edinburgh, with a couple of Scottish League players who were friendly and encouraged me to attend a meet, which I finally did yesterday. Now I'm here!

Hi everyone,

My name is Ken and I’m a Pinball addict based in Bramley, Hampshire 😃

I played pinball as kid in the 70’s and loved it, now I’m retired and managed to acquire my first pin in February (Spider-man 2007). Absolutely loving being back at the flippers, so much fun so just acquired another, Scooby Doo CE. They’re 2 completely different games but absolutely love both, just need to now convince my beautiful wife that we really need a third🤣🤣🤣

May the balls be with you 😊

Hiya folks! I got locked out of my email associated with my account a couple years back and had so much going on recently that I never sorted it or joined in on the forum when I got back into it! So I thought I'd reintroduce myself on here as I haven't really been active at all for a long time and really want to get more involved with the community and meet more people who are as crazy about pinball as I am!

Anyway, my name is Ryan (Rye), I'm now 29 and I'm owner of Blast from the Past Arcade at The Piece Hall in Halifax where my collection is available to play! I've owned pinball machines and been obsessed with the game since I was about 13 years old but have been properly collecting and restoring them since about 6 years ago.

I love all eras of pinball up to the 90s but my absolute favourite has to be 60/70s EMs and early Williams SS games! I've been very lucky to source a few of my holy grail games already but my absolute dream is to one day get myself a Pinbot and an El Dorado!!! I've never even had chance to play either of them in real life!

But yeahh, I'm gonna start trying to post on here more and get a more involved with events and everything going on because pinball is my entire life and I'm so grateful that such a great community and these forums exist!

If you've actually read my wall of text then thank you and hopefully you'll see more of me around!

Hello, I’m Tom and I’m living in Winchester. As many, my pinball addiction came from my young time and started again to come back on it 14 years ago with a Willian’s Comet, then resold it to buy The Addams family 10 years ago. We have moved in the UK in the meantime ( I’m French :) ) and I’m starting to consider to sell it. For the next steps I’m thinking to buy something like a T2, Indiana Jones or more surprisingly a Class of 1812 (good memory on it) but before buying a new one, I will have to convince my wife to put it back to the living room…( the TAF is now in the garage after a new sofa arrival! So I have joined this forum to see what is going on in the pinball community and see if I can find a good home for my beloved machine. Hoping to have good chats, cheers. Tom

Welcome Tom, you should pop down to Special When Lit on a Friday evening (in Salisbury) and say hello. Although we are closed this Friday evening (18th April).

Hi Tom
Nice to meet you 😀 my name is Ken and I’m based in Basingstoke. Let me know what you’re looking for for Addams as I may be interested if I can get it through the finance committee 🤣🤣🤣

Hi, nice to meet you too. My former office was in Basingstoke ! For the Addams I really don’t know, I have seen so many different numbers….it is complete, fully original, everything works except the green light of the bookshelf (and it is not the light), it have never been restored so the case and the playfield show his age….I can send you some pictures if you want or even better you can come and have a look and maybe a fair offer! Bye Tom

Hi all,

Mark from Glasgow here. I’ve been lurking for a few months on the forums, trying to convince myself I don’t have the space, time or money for a pin, but I’ve finally given in 😆

I’ve been collecting candy cabs and jamma stuff for 20+ years now, but any events I attend, I always find myself spending 90% of my time at the pinball machines.

My next hurdle is figuring out what to buy (first)

Don't do it Mark it'll take over your life like Vac🤣

Feeling like that already and I’ve not spent a penny yet 😆

Welcome Mark,I stay in Irvine myself so not far from Glasgow good to hear somebody else is into cabs and pinball.
Thanks, that’s not far at all. I work in Edinburgh, there are handful I know of in bars and in the odd HMV, but pickings are pretty slim when it comes to machines round here 😢

Last time I was there couple of months back was a sopranos, avatar, stern playboy, shadow, star wars trilogy iirc. Don't remember an addams but I was well on at the time 😀
