New members - say hello right here : )

Hi John, don't know if you take part but there was a league meet in Glasgow today and another just outside 2 weeks ago. Also about 8 of us mostly from an arcade forum went on a pin n beer night touring the tables in town.
Are you the same John listed a lw3 and Star Wars pin on eBay recently? I recall they were in Glasgow.
Anyway welcome and hopefully you'll catch up with the Scottish contingent at a league meet or one of the shows. Quite a few of us are heading to nerg and play expo.

Hi Dan
Eric in HMV seams to be on a one man mission to bring pinball to the tartan masses...... and it appears to be working with interest in 20-somethings wanting their own pins.
Its great to see all the exposure the machines are having in 2013, with pintables in The Library, Chris Brimacombs coffee shop and the eleven smart pins in the line up in HMV...... John

Hello Nibsy, I did respond to this last night but it seams to have disappeared into the system somewhere. Thanks for the welcome...... not guilty with regard to the LW3 and SW which were on eBay, I have a big problem parting with any of my pins..... a natural part of The Obsession I guess. Thanks for passing on my search to Unity Neil thats how I found this Site. I hope to buy some trophy pins from members who need space n cash for their next dream Hobbit or similar. Cheers John

Ah you were looking for The Shadow pin up in Glasgow, no probs had just seen you're wanted ad on Gumtree n knew there was one for sale.
Enjoy your time here.

Hey guys, thought I'd say hi, got my first pin on the way and very excited to get it up and running! It's a WCS and looks like quite the project.

I'm no stranger to board repair coming from arcade games though I still have a lot to learn when it comes to pins.

Anyway, wish me luck! :)

Wellcome to the madhouse and don't forget the most important pinball saying

The ideal number of pins to have is.....however many you have plus 1:frusty:

Welcome to the forum, WCS is a great game, first pin I ever bought too.......GGGOOOOAAAALLLLLLLL :thumb: Where abouts in the country are you?

Redhill, Surrey. I play (badly) in the South East and Surrey Pinball leagues.

I've only got one pin at the moment (It's the Rollergames that Dan posted a shop log on here about) and I've only had it a week. I've moved house so I can get pins though, so that's dedication I guess! :)

Heh, so it's not just me that's already thinking of a house move to make more room for Pinball then? And I don't even own my first one yet. ;)

YET!!

Hi, my name is Richard I have operated and repaired pinballs since 1984, I currently have a Dracula and Attack from mars in my bar available to play, I also have a gottlieb Stargate I will be refurbishing soon (if I ever get the time) please visit me in Morecambe if you fancy playing these tables.

Hi everybody,
My names Andy and I have a Phantom Of The Opera since 1990 - it's never been in an arcade or site. I'm hoping to get a couple more pins in the not too distant future. I have a few dedicated arcade cabs but I really want to get into pins a little more. Glad to be here

Hi Andy and welcome aboard !

POTO !! Nice ....rarely seen DE game.

Been on here a while but never introduced myself.

My first major foray into Pinball was Play Expo last year, I then joined the Northern League and have become well and truly bitten by the pinball bug.

I don't own a machine (or a house to put it in) but hope to one day.

Welcome aboard one and all.

Derezz, POTO is a cool game, I'd love to own one but its unlikely anytime soon.
Also, fellow FNM devotee right here, King for a Day is still incredible.

Hey OrochiLeona, thanks and yes, FNM for the win ;) Patton can still knock em out and KFAD still sounds great today.

Give that man a goldfish.

(For those not inclined:
Incredible alt rock/metal band from late 80s to early 90s. Now defunct.
KFAD is "King For A Day" my favourite of their albums.

Biggest hits over here were 'Epic' 'Easy' and ''Midlife Crisis' all from early 90s)

Hi all.
Been lurking for a while and thought it about time to say hello.
My name is Nick and im looking for my first pin.
Having read quite a few threads about dodgy ebay buys and unscrupulus dealers im very glad i didn't just dive in and buy the first machine that caught my eye.

I've been speaking to a gentleman on here(South coast slammer) about the pin that he has for sale and just wondered what people thought about the playability of the game, good, bad or just plain avoid.

I did tell Will that i'd be asking a few questions on here regarding his machine which he was more than fine with, i just want some honest opinions on the game as it will be my one and only, otherwise divorce will follow shortly. :D

Oh friggin brilliant start to forum life.
Yes it is The Shadow.
Sorry typing while serving customers is not good for the concentration.
