I can't see anyone begrudge paying say £10 for a Pin they are selling for £1000's.Quick question , that might upset some- did we see fewer pins sold on here due to the introduction of a fee?
Exactly!I can't see anyone begrudge paying say £10 for a Pin they are selling for £1000's.
Don’t think so but I wonder if it has put off anyone joining just sell a pin?Quick question , that might upset some- did we see fewer pins sold on here due to the introduction of a fee?
We'd get a lot of RoscoesDon’t think so but I wonder if it has put off anyone joining just sell a pin?
Maybe we should let new members sell their pin free for the first week
True but you would have to collect then you can kick them in the ballsWe'd get a lot of Roscoes

Tho i did and still do find it possibly harder than it should be to find the donate button .
Don't you mean one of a kind limited edition collectors item , you won't see another one the sameWe'd get a lot of Roscoes
Hi Matt, is the Spirit still available ?I can help the thread get back on track:
Genie - £1450
Riverboat Gambler - £1750
Spirit (Project) - £850
High Roller Casino (wrong legs) - £2200
Flash (needs work) - £850
Not all will go, but a chance for someone to grab a cheaper machine.
Looks like this is now sold, pending payment.Hi Matt, is the Spirit still available ?
Drew
Thanks MattLooks like this is now sold, pending payment.
That's "only" ~US$12k, and looking at pinside Tron LEs are going for $20k or so... So it would've been profitable to buy that Tron and resell it overseas even with the cost of shipping (not that I would do that).Who dropped 9 GRAND on Tron?! I almost crashed my Light Cycle
im happy to pay , tho i did and still do find it possibly harder than it should be to find the donate button .
I agree with this, I had to talk someone through it last week and it was a struggle for me to find it all. I meant to give @Paul a shout about it
I feel the same, haven’t been on long and know f all about pinball and haven’t sold anything, but do enjoy the forum and £10 is nothing in the scheme of things.+1
I recently realised I was showing as "registered" rather than "site supporter" as it was over 12 months since I last donated, and it took me ages to work out how to donate.
Someone mentioned that it is relatively easy on a phone, but for those of us old gits with dodgy eyesight who insist on using one of those computer things with a proper screen rather than a little phone, it's nigh on impossible to find how to donate.
I think I eventually found it by searching for threads with "donate" in, and in one found a link to the donate function.
It would certainly be better if it was more obvious/easy.
...and as others have mentioned, £10 is peanuts if it helps a little towards the running of this forum - I'm certainly happy to support it, regardless of whether I'm selling a pin - I've actually never sold one, but have donated each time I've bought one, and now donate anyway even if not buying or selling any.
But if you have a small screen (or a massive screen and don't operate browser windows full screen) you end up with this:
View attachment 156977
Then it's not obvious what is beyond the arrow (and most people may not notice or ever go and look)
Hows that???Aha, maybe move "Donations" to be on the lhs then! "Home, Forums, Donations, What's new......."
@Paul
So good I used itHows that???
That's better! I'd even consider using red text too....Hows that???
