JJP GNR Pinball

I would like to see a photo of it on a GnR pinball machine :)

there are 4 in the country currently. It’ll be on its way to one shortly. We had 14 site unseen pre orders. With other toppers being released we were getting emails asking for more details. So we decided to go with this now.

WEEK ONE 'POST' UPDATE IN TILT.

Obviously this game has been played an awful lot since last week. It now has 1300 games on the clock (not sure how many Neil put on it previously)......

Post looks fine.

Even got a smiley face on my latte..

NB - May also change the washer to a smaller size but want to really keep this experiment running for longer.

This machine I would say is the most played GnR in the UK at the moment.

Will do another 'post' 'post' next week.

Ha - those are probably more than this topper @Poibug :)

@James - I can not believe you have put that topper on a Line 6 spider amplifier. Dear lord it is the worst amplifier ever made. You have a perfectly good Marshall 4 by 12 cabinet.
Just looked out of interest, the Mcfarlane figure on eBay is about £130, Poibug has one on his GNR, looks good. A bit cheaper than £750 although you would have to fix it and it wouldn’t be interactive.

I used to be a fan of toppers but now not bothered, I think the MM and MB ones look pretty bad, I’d put this in the same category. I expected more or a much lower price. It may be that it needs to be experienced in person and looks amazing.

I have the Kiss topper, it looks OK but I wouldn’t have one at the price they go for if I’d seen it on a machine first

You do realise I ironed out all of the post areas with a vinyl iron to fix the pooling and chipping that was there? So you can’t really compare.

Regards,
Neil.

Yes - I am also the engineer in question.

JJP are not paying - Mr Palmer is.
Would it be possible for someone who you visit to film what you do and share it with us other owners? If I had a short tutorial video I'd happily do the work myself and save Phil the cost and you the ballache @Pick Holder !! (Sorry if that costs you some work btw!)

Ha, not really a 'presenter' type person. There is a plan to do a PDF when me and Mr Palmer are next to a game.....

You should take an axe and live groove to the owner’s first few games! ;)
I think people would pay me not to do this :)

Oops - forgot to post this yesterday
Had a brief chat with Phil yesterday- the boat didn’t arrive on 20/06 it arrives on Monday.

Phil has ordered WMS style posts and I think is calling customers to see if they want the game opened and posts fitted before they take delivery.

I think the top 2 posts in bumper area and 1 upper playfield.

Phil doing all he can with recommendations from @Pick Holder. Much appreciated

Not sure if that’s the case! I’ve been given addresses and told to arrange call outs.

We don’t have room at PH to do 30+ games. But things are changing so PLEASE WAIT UNTIL YOU GET A MESSAGE OR EMAIL FROM ME OR PHIL. Otherwise things will get confusing.

As far as I know, pins will be delivered as normal.
To install a few posts and washers?
No problem..... easy, I’ll do that myself as mentioned to PH, he will send them to me 👍

I had a chat with Phil yesterday about the posts and he asked if a engineer (pickholder) I’m guessing would be required to install.

I declined as I’d like to think I can avoid the cost to Phil and install myself with the instructions when he installs them and produces instructions.

Top customer service for something that’s beyond his control or responsibility.

Thoughts on these please gents? I'm inclined to think they are pretty vital in holding it all together under the problem posts...ie all of them!
