Cheers, corrected
That was an Epic ball, it was great to see lots of the mods, tons packed into that code. Pulp Fiction Frenzy, pure WOWI had a monster game today. 46M - most earned on ball 2. One shot gave me 9m !!!
@zxspectrum16k was there waiting patiently.
I drained all my extra balls so he could have his turn
Tried several times this evening to recreate and I’m getting nowhere.![]()
Agreed, the game is as close to perfection as they come, shows what happens when a game is made with uncompromised passion over keeping the bean counters happy,Nice Pop bumper cap mod.
I have just been playing mine and had a look a pop bumper caps, cool to see the centre of the caps are raised at the back and facing forward.
This game is so perfect in every way I can't think of any other mods other than protectors and mirror blades, pure perfection in my opinion. There are so so many little things in this machine you keep discovering in this beauty. Truly something else, thank goodness for Tarantino's input on this machine, likely never see anything like this ever again.
To hit the side ones shoot the 3 centre drops, the ball should often bounce off and hit the side ones. That’s how I get them. I noticed this in the roll scene mode where you have to hit just those red arrows.I've never got to Pulp Fiction Frenzy so decided tonight to only go for that goal. I find those 2targets on each side of the playfield the most difficult shots, I just can't dial them in, I think I need to gap the switches to make them more sensitive.
Anyway, the furthest I got was P-U-L-P F-I-C a few times. I'll give it another go next time.
Clare says she’s well aware of Adie’s waggle. And she doesn’t need fixing!Mr Hufton is known for fixing things by giving them a good waggle
Thank for the reply, really helpfulLoving mine, and wouldn't be an issue for me if it was the only Pin I owned.
I'm finding it super tough, but that's kind of what makes me keep pressing the start button. I find it hard to believe anyone has beaten it, even after watching videos of them doing it.
Common issues seem to be flaky optos, lock down bar fitting issues and pop bumpers needing adjustments. Luckily I've not had any of those issues, just needed to gap some of the switches to make them more responsive.
It's a solid, great looking, great playing Pin. Still early days but maybe the closest I've had to a 'keeper'.
There seem to be a lot out there so they'll start hitting the used market at some point.
It feels like pure Pinball, without the need for toys and a big screen.
Honestly had hardly any issues with mine, nothing a few tiny tweaks didn’t resolve, and no more than any modern stern I have purchased.I’m near ordering mine but I would love to get a few opinions on quality and issues, are you guys enjoying yours?
