Any one on here get the Transformers? I was bidding but was out when it ended..... Not a great machine, but great value for a modern Stern.
 
Too late. Bidding started. If I'd wanted it , I'd of bought it at £700. I doubt the bidder is going to get it for less.

This was the one at NLP - it had had a very hard life by the looks of things - not quite the bargain one might presume!
 
So the Fish Tales that "sold" a few days ago for £1800+ has just come back onto the bay. Now with a statement that £1000 will buy it. So if someone just offered you almost twice that much would you really be so keen to now give it away a few days later....

Smells about as bad as a fish that's been left out.....

But why go to the hassle of shilling it and then offer a BIN price? Just take the earlier offers unless they were all shilled

One of the bidders in that auction (6***0 - (132)) has been bidding on some items within the 'sexual health' category (no not me, I'm checking for shillers). Upon opening the 'sexual health' category, I was greeted with this page and some interesting items:

Basically, a ****load of penis enhancers and whatnot. I damn near spat my coffee all over the keyboard... BWAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!

Its got a faded silk screened cab. Unless you want to repaint the whole thing, theres no way of changing that. PF looks ok but with no real up close high res pics to peruse there could be something nasty hiding. £2500-2750 imo.

yeah, save those photos to memory - they get used an awful lot.
 
Yeah I've been winding him up all afternoon, it's a scam for sure, got the same message back. Still remember those pics from a while back, I was genuinely interested and was hoping a price of around £4.5-5. To buy or seeing if he was interested in trading my Predator for it when it arrives
 
Does anyone actually know who the 'shed' belongs to? Like the rest of you I've seen countless auctions of pins with those pictures used time and time again. Obviously it's someones, somewhere. Would be interesting to know the source and if they know their photos get constantly ripped off.
 
The seller is usually a genuine ebay account that's been hacked, happened to me before.

You would think they would use a C-lister instead of MM, more likely to catch newbies out, well very gullible ones.
 
Yea its definitely AJPinball (www.ajpinball.co.uk) who trades as griffith0079 on eBay. The picture in the scam listing was of the lovely MM restoration he sold late last year. I'm pretty sure I've seen other scams with the same pic as well before this one. :suspect:

I'd of thought they would try and make it a bit less blatent than a listing with a single picture of a top machine sold less than a year ago in the same country by a known seller with his shed in the background lol. Surely the chances of success would be a lot higher if they made up a plausible listing with multiple pictures of a machine from somewhere obscure?
