i bought that Robocop for the team, it's in South Milford about 20 miles east of Leeds.

https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/South Milford, Leeds, North Yorkshire LS25/@53.8038954,-1.2747697,11z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x48794087d6f4d503:0xfecaf69529c78992

i have no space of course, but i couldn't sleep properly and see that one go for so low, so i hope i didn't force another forum member's price up. so if someone really wants it instead of me, and promises not to just flip it immediately for a more realistic £600 price tag, they just have to say so. otherwise it's cash on collection and i'll send Martin with a wad of 20s, and stick it in the pile.

Just down the road from here. Bloke across the road's girlfriends lives there too - they've been together 20yrs, still live in separate houses - very odd.

Maybe ED209 lives near me...?

No space either, except the ****ty garage, but it's not weather proof or secure so i couldn't guarantee the safe storage of anything that goes in there. Already got 1 fruit machine rotting inside, especially after so much effort bringing it back to life... Pinball is to blame.

"Dead or alive, you're coming with me."

@cooldan Here ya go, forgot I knocked these up if any good. Robocop Instructions. If you want the original work I did so you can adjust/add yourself can upload that too. Some of those other cards you can download seem to be too big and you lose some after it's tucked in.

Data East 76x140mm. Should be correct.

WTF is with this woodtech 'give me a grand because i was depressed' artwork.

/me primes his £100,000 itchy scrot artwork.

Don't forget to report the aucion to ebay gents, if only to try and stop some innocent person from getting scammed.

An alternative tactic I have participated in myself, is bidding up the auction along with another member to hundreds of thousands to stop anyone else bidding and highlight the fact that it is a scam, while ebay take their time in responding to the complaints

Maybe people need to be more subtle instead of going for the big money.

Not bothering in the first place would suit them better.

Most pin scams are laughable at best but some people still get caught out. Mostly its the folk that break the golden rule of always going to see it in person first.

I always thought the first part of a scan was making people actually believe it wasn't :P

Or maybe people actually are that stupid.

Some are for sure. Some are just decent folk caught up in the moment of pinball excitement and forget there are scumbags waiting to fleece them.

"Won't sell for less than valued" What the **** does that mean? If I bid and it's less than some mythical value does he refuse to sell to me? Is the £500 starting price the value he places on it?
Well by his own admission he has no idea how to put a reserve on it.

I don't know where he'd stand with eBay on that one - i'd suspect he might be in a little trouble if someone lodged a dispute when he refuses to sell because the final figure is too low. Unless he pulls the old 'oh, it's broken' stunt.

Danger danger, the WC seller is very well known in the arcade communities and have been in business for probably 20 years (despite changing their company name constantly)

The fact that they are pretending to be newbies with their "it has sounds and lights" description is a massive red flag.

I'll have to re-post the pictures of the RAB I got from them for anyone who has not seen what it looked like when I got it

Did wonder why they haven't fixed and sold it themselves if they are "restorers". Must have major problems.

This one sold a few weeks ago, wonder what happened there.
