Im thinking dirty rag and zero's :(

Always wanted a Fathom have i.. (to go in the Pinball Graveyard of course Luke ;) )

Been for sale for ages. Looks a very tired example. The seller has a bad rep on here.

You might want to check out Lukes youtube channel (ArcadeUK) and watch the videos of the TOM repair. I think that one came from the same seller and was in 'mint' condition? Far from it it seems.

I'm just down the road in Colchester so I should be able to get there by myself -- but thanks mate.

I am itching to get my second Pin but I just keep hearing so many horror stories about Ebay...

He also had a nice Creech that went AWOL fast, shame the guy had to sell his toys to fund a business venture, good luck to him, hope it all works out.

Yes, it was a filthy, dangerous deathtrap with many many faults, and the seller did describe it as the best TOM he had ever seen.

Fortunately after many evenings of hard work and (I think a grand in parts?) it is now a gorgeous TOM (and also very expensive one lol)

It was probably the worst case of a machine not matching its description that I have ever seen (and also the most deadly, with every single bit of earth braid cut off and bare mains wires all over the place inside!)

Here is the part one video

Just watched all 6 of those videos, Great stuff!

What the **** happened to that machine! Looks like a child got at the inside with a scissors. Awesome job though on the restoration!

It's well worth subscribing to Lukes channel.

Unfortunately my wife thinks i'm a total saddo because she caught me watching those restoration videos on the big TV. Really nice way to learn as well.

OK, so how much for Manny's ****ed IJ? I think this could go either way. Guessing it needs a lot of work as otherwise he would have done it. I'd value a normal (faded) one at under 2.5k. Guessing it needs new decals, playfield, DMD, gun, translight and a **** load of time. 99p start, I'd be out at more than a grand. Think it would be a great project for someone but potentially a real money pit..

Only made £900, fair price with all the work and parts needed.

I think being caught watching Luke's videos are the lesser of two evils...
