Same as you mate I have always bought mostly 12” singles since the 80’s for DJ stuff, albums are handy for when I’m getting hammered
. My other sons have got me some 12” singles which are still to come, we are going to be doing a vinyl event apparently so I need to get practicing

I probably will, done it with CDJ’s which is easy but vinyl
The record was - well mingin to say the least. Cleaned up OK though. Was only £10 so figured was worth it.

I have a Dual 505 deck with a Ofofon DN 165E stylus, which my dad bought from a shop on Tottenham Court Road in the 80's. He gave it to me when he was having a clear out. It is going into a 12 year old Yamaha modern amp, so I am not sure how good it will really sound.

I was thinking of Tom Baker the other night as the lead singer of Mercury Rev who I saw looked just like him. Guitarist was a doppleganger for Vic Reeves too!
