Wish I was the best DJ in my living room, kids grew up
Still got my records from the 80’s, reggae, house, electro, hip hop etc. Back then the fee for doing an event went on vinyl so always costing too much for me, buy yeah expensive now. Been looking
Last set (pic) I had about 5 years ago, pioneer Nexus 2 set up was nice but that’s a load of dosh. So easy to mix on that setup, no effort compared to vinyl. Child’s play.

Just clocked the Menace LP. I’m assuming it’s the punk band who did GLC judging by the logo but the sleeve looks quite metal.
I did an album and an ep with them in the early 2000s. Nice guys. I suspect the only original member is now the drummer Noel.

Went to a vinyl fair in Swansea today, met 2 of my sons as studying there. One DJ’s in this place now and again, spent a few quid but worth it
Had to get Caspa, my old manor.
Mixer, cartridges and deck stand coming next week. Can’t wait

I haven’t rigged it up to amps yet as a few options but the Servo 15 sub underneath might cause a bit of feed back, hopefully not
Only just built the desk and dumped the stuff on it then my wife said “ The Xmas tree goes there”
Also got Ortofon Concorde Club cartridges to fit.

Snagged these today. Don’t stumble on them very often at all.

Got me thinking. I’m always in a record shop somewhere or another. If anyone has anything they’re particularly looking for let me know here.
It’s unlikely record shop owners won’t know their onions but you never know. Might find a bargain.

I mainly collect 12” singles 90’s house, trance electronic stuff. I find most stereotypical white prog rock shops just fling it in the £2 pile. I’ve picked some expensive records out of those bargain bins as they don’t know what to do with it.

I’m obsessed with Crazy P at the moment. If anyone stumbles upon it drop me a line.
