This weekends record fair haul.
New (apart from the Japanese pressings).
Really getting into Japanese pressings. The ones I have heard I really like. But some of them cost 5 times the price of a UK pressing!
Think the Van Halen japanese pressings sound better than the original US copies I have and the 180g remastered stuff.....

Went to a record fair this morning.....
Came back £1 worse off and with a leaflet.
Round by me I would say we have 4 record fairs a month - all the same people and the same stock.....

Son brought some of my records back, good timing as just brought in a Rega Planar 3 deck that has been sitting in the garage for 22 years that was given to me in the 90’s.
New belt fitted, waiting on a new stylus and a phono preamp. Get some crackle going

Bought myself some of these to store my vinyl. Pretty pleased with them.
I have 3 of the double ones and a single one - all almost full. So based on this (and an earlier comment about updating collections on Discogs) im slowly cataloguing them all on discogs. Im at £4800 so far and I have 2 of those double storage deelys yet to do !

Grabbed these from the Tynemouth market yesterday. Even manged to haggle the price down from £70 to £50 
Made this beauty and houses some of my records and need to make one for my laserdiscs now
I chucked all
Mine sold on eBay I listed as both laserdiscs and wall art as some them absolutely awesome.
Maybe one day they might be worth something. There's a few that might.

Finally get to listen some bday gifts today
I bought the Queen coloured vinyl studio album box set years ago. Was about £270 then - gone up a lot since but it gets played a hell of a lot. Except Hot Space.

Least liked ones: Queen 1, Hot Space, Made in Heaven - but they are still good!

In a few years, when the kids leave home, the wife & I are planning to downsize to a smaller house. She's told me I'll need to significantly reduce my vinyl collection - so I've started buying up cheap records I don't want so I can "sacrifice" them when the time comes.
