Mmm Mars attacks bubble gum trading cards (that the movie is based on) came out in the 60's
As Rudi says I was talking about the infamous cult 1960's collectable cards that the film (and presumably AFM) were based on. Which all the illustrations on the game look incredibly like, right down to the cattle mutilations
Just to chip in regarding MMr - I have actually played one and have seen photos of them on the Stern production line (Stern facebook page) so it would appear that they are being made albeit a little slowly by Stern standards... Can't think why that might be...!

Just like a MM should play although the one I played seemed to have weakish flippers, it was at the DPO probably having being played to death, so in my eyes that really isn't an issue, as they may just have needed a tweak.
