UK Events Diary 2024

Brewdog Pinball Challenge - Thursday 29th Feb 2024 - Qualifying games to be played between 4pm and 10pm. Final starts at 10pm.

Brewdog are providing prizes on the day, entry is free but games are £1 per play (or less if you use the Game Payment App with sign up bonus)

The format is 15 best games for qualifying.

17th March - UK Pinball League - London and South East League - hosted by Tom Soulsby in Newdigate, Surrey
28th April - UK Pinball League - London and South East League - hosted by Martin Dudman in Keston, Bromley
19th May - UK Pinball League - London and South East League - hosted by @VeeMonroe and @MadMonzer in Blackheath, Greenwich
23rd June - UK Pinball League - London and South East League - hosted by Julian Rawlinson in Bromley, Bromley

Two more events and regional final dates to follow.

Just goes to show you don’t need to pay funny money to grab a fun game these days. Those were the cheapest games in the line up. Theres still a Getaway for sale on here at 2k. The one you played yesterday had quite a few changes over the stock machine though but i think the changes i made to the soundtrack helped improve the game so i’m glad to hear you liked it 😎

Hi Pete, is pinball skills day a comp? Or some combination of teaching and showing off? 😄

Skills day is a social day with emphasis on improving your pinball skills. With or without assistance is entirely up to you. :cool:

This sounds like a great idea and simething I should really attend if I want to seriously improve my game! I sometime wonder when I’m playing well am I winging it or do I actually pull off a blinder of a game ?

I’m down for this have booked Sarum college for the sat evening it’s also knowing the rules of the table too. I’m currently in Clacton there is a James Bond pin on the peir currently my personal high score on that is 69 million! Last chance this morning to get my score over 100 million!

Do you know about the playfield multipliers on Bond (Bond women)? Definitely changes the scoring significantly. Have a read of the rule sheet if you haven’t already, when the action button is pink that’ll activate it. If you stack it with a multiball then you will probably improve your score by at least 5x 👍

Thanks will look out for that are the bond women activated via the ramps? Already aware of the lock up the top of the playfield for one of the multi balls there is the jet pack one and a handy extra ball by hitting the right ramp and ball into the left scoop hole. Extra balls are switched on with this version of the game!

19th Jan 2025 - Medway Pinball, Rochester
16th March 2025- TBC
11th May 2025 - Julian’s, Bromley
8th June 2025 (plus finals) - Neil’s Domino Arcade, Woking
