The "Today I received" Thread

Any guesses as to what it used to be, and more importantly how it can be used in a pinball application?

Who's getting pimped Kev? Question mate, I've got an acdc pro inbound that needs pimping, is comet the best for newish sterns to avoid ghosting/flickering/etc? Cheers
In my opinion yes, comet non ghosters don't ghost unlike some that just say they don't lol.

The order above is for a POTC and BBH, neither of which are mine ( babysitting the POTC).

It's a magnetic rubber mat. Originally designed to be used during theatre operations, it's for resting surgical instruments on so they don't end up on the floor (or inside a patient)

I think it will be ideal for placing on the playfield (or neighbouring table) whilst doing minor repairs/maintenance. Screws, nuts, washers, tools, etc will stick to it and not end up lost or in the ball trough, or scratching the playfield.

Does it slide down much when place on the neighbouring machine ?

image.jpeg Some of these off dreads. Took 10 days for Royal Mail to deliver them so he sent another set this morning

Hi, jonathan,

I notice something in your picture that always niggled me; under the head of the coach-bolt for the side rail, there's still a scrap of the protective plastic film that the game would've had on the rails when brand-new. I always removed the whole lot, for the sake of tidiness, but never took in at the time that the purpose of the bolt is to earth the metal rail - the remaining plastic could affect this.

Received these cool lil boards for my current Star Wars projects

Looks nice, is this something you'd share as a Shop Log or as a finished product for those with a liking for Star Wars?

A total of 100 sound clips? That's impressive for such a small unit.

Yup 10 per switch

I will either put it in my customs thread or start a Star Wars thread
