What's the difference between one of these and a filament printer, what are the use cases for each?

 

[Paul]

Filament gives you more versatility (different filaments with different properties).
Resin you are limited to resin types, however they can be MUCH more detailed (and are smooth off the bat, rather than printing and then either sanding or smoothing depending on the filament used).

Are they similar in terms of the strength of the printed objects? I guess what I'm really getting at is could either be used to fab pinball parts
