Got these Stern Glass Covers from @philpalmer (thanks!) and really happy with them. The full size covers are great, but my machines were too close together, so I just never used them. These are easy to throw on even when close together.

Do they have magnet in them at all or are they more like yoga/excise mats ?

How much are those? I've never been a fan of the full covers but I like that.

I will check my invoice, but I think they were around £55 each.

The full covers are nice, but with limited space, these are perfect for me to keep dust off the glass.

Little update after 17years sleeping comet woke up nicely.
Duracell battery expired 2001 and no leakage.
Everything is working a couple of broken plastic rubber+ one weak coil

Just received my Brian Allen's MB alternative translite.

Quality is very good but imo the leds in the CGC remake LE are a little harsh and slightly washes the colours out even on low settings.

Its still staying in the machine tho. Old one going on the wall.

QUESTION: What options have you used to mount a translite in a frame without going the full hog and getting the lit frames.

The tent garage I was using to restore my classic mini blew away during the 70mph winds a couple of weeks ago. Luckily the shell was at the sand blasters so ther wasn't any damage besides a decent scratch on the wifes car 😬

So as of today this is where it lives for now until I can sort something more permanent. Glad I chose one of the smallest cars ever made to restore! 😂
