seller has confirmed the refurbed playfields are included. he will provide pics later he said.
I put an offer in, he said it owes him £5750 and to put a more generous offer in.
Thats a big job and a big risk, think he would be better off carrying on with his project and selling finished to try and get most of his money back.

I reckon the listing will disappear before the end because he won’t let it go for £2500. I agree the only way is for him to finish it to a high standard. I want the project but not for that cash/risk.

I really feel for the Banzai seller. He has dug himself into an almighty hole. If you have paid to refurb your playfields, you really need to refurb the cab as well.

Banzai was painted with stencils (not decals). The stencil work is extremely intricate and I read that Pinball Pimp won't even make them as they are so tough to manufacture.

So then you are looking at decals, which will never look factory. The Australian ones might be your best bet if you go that route - but this is a horrible cab with a game specific backbox to contend with.

If you hit snags when rebuilding it, you cannot even reach the interconnect board in that game without removing a playfield. I would normally service/ clean/ reflow an item like this in a System 11, but I could not face digging it out. I pray it never needs maintenance.

And ultimately, what is a high end Banzai worth ? 4k ? Work backwards, discount for the risks, discount for the extra work in rebuilding a uniquely designed game that you did not dismantle in the first place.

And even then, after all the time and money, you don't have an Addams Family or even a Whirlwind. If you have a non-geek guest over the vertical playfield will p1ss them off/ frustrate them as it takes a while to get used to. Casual folk will play it just as often as a regular System 11 like Space Station.

You have a huge game that you will never want to move, with basic gameplay that means it needs to be part of a 4 plus game collection.

Its a special game but you don't want to be moving it.

Last league meet i missed king of the hill 3 times. It can be a very frustrating bugger

I’d love this pin one of my favourites with great memories, strange one asking offers only don’t look bad Nick ! What’s it worth in the current climate ?

it’s terrible. £1k-£1.5k
Back in its day it was amazing - hasn't aged well though - last time I played one was at the Flippermuzeum in Budapest and it was so slow - you realize just how much things have advanced when you play some of the older games and it's all the same basic concept - oh and I love LW3 - still enjoy that one

I’ve managed to avoid buying several projects recently, so i am being good.

it’s more like a poison chalice 😂
give me few more years until my kids can entertain them self and become the local police problem and i'll take it :D

Not played a SI for donkeys years
Thanks for the heads up shame about the play.
Love the look of it and the sounds used to scare me to death as a kid 😂

There are two TAFs playfields on ebay from US, same seller, one CPR, the other Mirco.
I was going to get the CPR, but it's silver rated, not sure it's worth saving a couple of hundreds when they may have minor imperfections.

I'm fitting a silver CPR at the moment the imperfections on mine are in areas that can't be seen on the playfield.

The CPR will be silk screened and the Mirco will be a digital print.

CPR dimples are a royal nightmare but you're not fitting it so don't worry about that 🤪

Personally, if you are going to choose, I’d go for the CPR over the Mirco, even if it is a Silver.
I prefer the lighter green that was used instead of the traditional dark green. IMO it helps brighten up an already dark game.

Yeah I agree, any imperfections will be minor and I think they will be difficult to spot. Plus its also a silk screened playfield, from their 2018 run, so will have much better colours to the artwork, which is another reason to opt for the CPR. They no longer make these with that method.
