Just some info on the wildly overpriced Tommy on eBay.
Out of interest I messaged seller. Got a genuine sounding reply - the game does power on and plays but kicking out 2 balls ...so an easy fix there. It does have the all important blinders.
Poor listing and photos. Cab actually looks pretty decent with reds unfaded, couple corner dings to backbox. Lockdown bar nice. Playfield looks ok , nothing jumps out as missing (apart from a flipper rubber
) but hard to tell from lousy photos.Missing topper (common) , and has chrome legs not factory black.

Tommy is top of my pre-approved with the other half list of pins, but I'm holding out for one that's been re-decaled with the band/UJ imagery not the horrific broadway yellow

You might wait a while, most people redecalling them do so with keeper status in mind - prob better to get a regular one and have the work done.

I appreciated your hospitality Moose, you certainly know how to run a league meet up there. Yep, luckily saw the advert after 5 minutes, so hopefully he will honour the deal, but as you say Moose he has probably been inundated with messages. We shall see, he said he will call me today to sort collection

It's just not cricket. At £500 still a good deal surely
I've had a message from the seller saying if I'm still interested he'd take £500 .
Yeah I'm not interested in getting involved in a bidding war after he had agreed to sell it to me and I had sorted collection. Even if the price is still ok.

Also, I had this last year when I got lucky. People were trying to gazump me and I had to go and collect straight away near Brighton 300 miles away when I was unwell
Guy was a gent and honoured the sale when he could have easily doubled/trebled the money.

That spy hunter is up for spares/repairs and I thought I saw one a while ago in Scotland which needed repair but the boards/whatever was needed to repair it was unobtainable. Not sure if it’s the same one, maybe dodged a bullet.
Did anyone here get the nice looking/fully working Corvette in Cardiff for 2k? Listed fb Saturday evening & collected Sunday morning. Last one sold on eBay a few years ago around the 3k. 2k is a steal.
