The "How much is this table worth" thread....

Different one.
Guy has an IM pro on Ebay for 6.5K. He also has a DE GnR and is asking 6k for it.
I'd rather have a GnR so was just interested.

Can't see that 8k one now

Yeah was looking and its gone, would have said 4K for a DE GnR since that one sold. £6k is getting closer to JJP GnR money now, looks like one pending sale advertised at 7200 on here.

Hi All, some advise please.
A mate of mine with an arcade has a Stern high roller casino that they are looking to get rid off, possibly in part exchange for one of my machines. It is not a game I want in my collection, so I would want to be careful not to offer too much as I would be taking in just to sell on (they would know that) either on here at purchase price, or just put on ebay if no one here wanted it. At the same time, they are a mate so I dont want to offend or rip them off with too much of a low offer.
I did quite alot of work to it about 2 years ago at their request, completely rebuilding the pf with new rubbers, coil sleeves etc, full flipper rebuild and upgrading to nice comet LED's and gave it a good testing by using it in my 2023 league meet, where it ran flawless, however there was some damage to the playfield on the underneath where the auto ball launcher mech had been problematic. This has now been filled, and I believe now works fine, it shows but as its filled on the underneath and side thankfully it does not show in play view. Also one side of the cabinet was quite faded.
Despite being on site I dont think it has had much play since I did the work, but I know the market for this is much weaker now, would offering about £1500 off the value one of my games be about right or is that too high or too low?
Cheers, Andy

Got 1850 for my full working one on ebay last year and then it was someone seeking one .

1500 should be okay but market is poor generally and very poor for undesirable pins

Personally I’d get them to sell it and then use the cash towards buying one of your pins instead of taking it on yourself. Sounds like you’d just be doing them a favour and assuming the risk when they could easily stick it on eBay themselves.

Yeah , HRC is pretty much near bottom of the pile of modern era Sterns . Only Sharkeys and Striker a harder sell I’d imagine.

When you cross 2k now you are entering the cheaper end of Williams DMD games. All way more appealing then HRC .

Thanks all for replies, I will contact them soon with a few offerings I have for them to swap + a bit of cash or maybe offer them an upgrade for something alot newer and much better suited to site.
I get it would probably be better to let them sell it first, but reading between the lines I think they were more keen to PX it, also I fear that they may think twice about buying a game from me upfront at full value, and we would have to wait for that one to sell first. Lastly, I would be very happy sell a game right now, since IFPA and YEGPIN are on the horizon I sure could use the money.

Are we talking about the one that was on ebay for about £4K and then that outrun1986 guy bought it and stuck it up for £8k?

Pretty sure that was mine although I can't confirm the seller. I did sell circa 4k and saw it on Ebay days later for twice the price. Hadn't replaced asmuch as a rubber.

Bought it at 3k which I thought was fair until I got it home, everything broke and the screen blew up. It's a very visually beautiful pinball in my opinion, great sound and good shots. Despite this, I despise everything about it. I do miss a Data East though, they have a charm. Want a Last Action Hero.

Was offered one two months ago for 2400 which was in good condition. Way things are going I wouldn't wanna spend more than 2k. That BOP has been on Facebook all day at 2k which says to me that it's going to be 2019 again pretty soon.

My advice would be to not spoil the friendship, just tell them you’re not interested and give them advice on possible value and suggested sale sites. Otherwise if it goes ti_ts up then you may end up with something you don’t want, and more importantly risk damaging a relationship with a friend.

@ronsplooter has one but I have no idea how much he gave for it nor what it's worth.

I would guess Circa £3k depending on condition but somebody with more of a clue will let us know soon enough. 👍

I paid £4.5 for mine and have a standing offer of 9K USD for it from a guy in the states. They go for strong money to the right buyer!
Chris, is it worth the £4.5 you paid ? Is is a decent game to play or is it just an expensive rare game ? Never played one myself but some rare games are a great game to play and others a just meh.

It's a great game IMO mate, I love it. Really fast and good rules. Whether it's worth 4.5K I'm not sure but I'm not upset with what I paid as I'd been after one for a long time so I was the right type of buyer 👍

Although l didn't want to sell but arcade closing meant loss of space, it wasn't hard to get well over 3k for Andromeda. Like some classic sterns normal value rules don't apply to some gameplan

I agree with Chris,
On the few occasions I have had a chance to play cyclops, I really enjoyed it. Some great shots and rules with crazy artwork. Young Tobin had one for a while, not sure if he still has?

He loved it as well….. very rare game though, particularly in the uk…. Keef😎

Hi I have a Williams Hotline fully working set on free play what is this worth please.
