The "How much is this table worth" thread....

My dad has decided he wants me to source him a Bad Cats as his first pin. How much should I be looking to pre-warn him to have available before I post a wanted ad. I said a sys11 should be £1.5 to £2k these days, am I about right? Thanks. Ash.

I would say that is about right it’s not the best of games though

as is non working probably around £600-£700 I would have thought,old williams of that period,just don't seem to carry the value of Bally's of the same age,working you may be closer to a grand,but it's not that sort after,if you got it fully restored with a new backglass and playfield touched up,you may be looking at £1500+ to the right buyer

Toying with the idea of moving on all my small hoard of pinball parts & bits and pieces ( need to sort), however have a couple of back glasses I’m not sure if to let go or not. What do you think the following are worth. All currently wrapped up in a cupboard so not getting them out unless I decide to sell.
Space Invaders - Mirror and Backglass set. From memory all good
Xenon - Mirror and Backglass set. Again from memory all good
DE Simpsons - again from memory but think there were a few minor marks around the edge

space invaders is quite a common backglass and they do come up on ebay from time to time,it seems even though lots of the machines were broken up in the late 80's the backglasses survived as people loved the art,Xenon has been reproduced by cpr and so has the simpsons I believe,value wise I would say maybe £200+ each for space invaders and xenon sets,as you have both inner and outer glasses,simpsons I saw one on facebook sell for £75,but that may have been cheap

Thanks Steve, will contemplate what to do while sorting out the other stuff.
 
Anyone know the current market value for a Operation Thunder? I have two, so probably going to trade one for a pin of a similar value.

So I am now near 6 months into owning my first Pin :)

The past few months I have been constantly researching my ideal 2nd Pin, one I would like to pick up at some point in the future. Though I am no major rush to add a second Pin to the collection I have been making a list of the following machines below that appear to be very appealing to me. As I have said, I am no hurry to pick up a 2nd Pin ( I will likely wait until after pinfest) but I have made the following list and would appreciate some current valuations on the following machines (well looked after and cared for machines) ,

Guns & Roses (Data East)
Ghost Busters (Pro)
Total Nuclear Annihilation
Deadpool (Pro)
Moster Bash (Special Edition)
Black Knight Sword Of Rage (Pro)

Anyone know what the going rate is for a project Paragon? It’s the Italian 3 flipper version.

I might be selling it to fund another pinball purchase.

I know I’ll instantly regret selling it, so I’m not 100% sure I’ll be moving it on, just wanted to know a rough price.

I’ll upload some backbox pics when I get access to it later today.

This one took a while to sell at £11k:

Sold - Stern Mandalorian LE £11,000

Stern Mandalorian LE 279 of 750 495 lifetime plays as of today. Build date 28/06/21 and bought nib from pinball heaven and received on Saturday 21/08/21. Wasn’t intending selling this until at least March 2022 when my preordered Elvira was due to arrive but the world is crazy and Sterns...

On reflection, I’m somewhat high on the X-Men LE evaluation to the tune of at least a grand having spoken to someone with more knowledge on it.

I remember Congo at £3k ish a few years ago.. which was a premium given they’re a bit rarer. that’s was when fish tales were about £2k… and now people are asking 3.5k for fish tales… so does that mean Congo is also + 1.5k & now 4.5k? That seems a bit steep though... a junkyard just sold for £3700, and I guess it’s similar value to that maybe.
 
What are AC/DC pros selling for these days?

I hazarded a guess further up the page but with Tommy's going for £5k and Fish Tales for £4K I don't suppose you're going to get much change out of £5k for a 2010+ Stern these days?

Those were asking prices - did they sell at that ?

I think an AC/DC Pro did sell on here a while back for around 5 ?? which surprised me as several lovely Premiums had gone for not much more in the previous months . My timeline on this is sketchy tbh as the pandemic seems to have messed with my perception of time 😬

The fish tales was up for £3.5k and I don’t think it’s sold yet.
