Spooky Pinball Scooby Doo

Do you think that cover on the far right with scooby in the barrel is the hidden passage
I don't know but it from the video it looks like it's not really a widebody is it? I mean the cab is, but the playable area of the playfield isn't. It's like they bolted another 2 inches on the right side of a standard playfield and all it seems to have is those few flasher domes and the scooby barrel.

Well spotted. 2 inches more girth but I bet when you get your hands on it, it still looks and feels more or less the same.

or the possible hidden passage lol

Quoted from Luke at spooky about what will be discussed at Zaks podcast later tonight apparenty

"We go over something really unique we did by placing a standard body style playfield centered into a widebody"

So I guess it will have a similar feel to a standard body with the outer real estate used for the Habbitrail/ramp returns. Sounds a great idea and another innovative idea.

podcast up

Schedule is as follows:

Same as always! I always hold the first batch a little bit extra just to make sure they are as close to perfect as they can be. I will probably let the first 30 go mid to late January! Then we typically start around 20 a week and work our way up to 40 a week. All complete within 18 months but we always try to beat that time by as many months as possible. Usually lands around 15-16 months to get them all out the door. It all depends where you end up in line. If you are in early you will have it early if you get in late you will be later in the run. Also important to note we build all CE first then BSE next then SE.

CE delivered 1st not sure about us UK guys but @philpalmer will know some point I guess

I think it’s behind those drops on the left, there is a lane just above the left outlane/inlane seems impossible unless it’s fed via the scoop release behind those targets.

Biggest thing stopping me right now is slapping 2k down. Really don’t fancy it but don’t wanna miss out either.
That’s the prices of admission lest we forget the other downside… when Phil wants the other 9 ! But that’s pinball pal

Hi. Is there a UK distributior for Spooky games in UK or do you buy direct ? How does that process work ? Cheers and TIA
You can order from Phil at Pinball Heaven

Used to think Daphne was a bit of an alright 🤤 - Velma not so much…

You're right Col, it's clearly received a lot of love and the Scooby models look great.

Obviously I've not seen it in the flesh but just like CGC on Cactus, Spooky appear to have gone the extra mile which is absolutely the right thing to do on a toy that costs so much.

Didn't notice that, could be an issue for me. There's nothing on the Spooky website so has anyone got the actual dimensions - what I need to know is the actual width needed for it to go through a doorway whilst tombstoned?

Hall and doorway is a little tricky for normal Stern games and just wanted to check dimensions to make sure it'll fit as I suspect it may be too tight (Hobbit was 29" which would have been very, very borderline).

Bug/Luke confirm on TPN podcast, the cabinet is widebody but the playfield area is pretty much standard size with a couple of shots using the extra space at the back (I guess the bath paths/loops and the extra space on the side for the scared/panic meter and mechs.
