Thought I'd start a new thread on this one. Just got home. What a fantastic weekend. Hats off to the organisers for getting everything running as well as it did. Haven't got a single gripe or complaint. Well done grizz et al. Good to meet other forum members and have a chat. Keeping my fingers crossed for the raffle.

Indeed. I had an awesome day. The organising and commitment it takes to put a show like that on is incredible.
Thanks to Will, Grizz, Matt, Rav and all the other crew that put it on.
Thanks to those who provided games. You realise how hammered they get when you see someone like CJ playing!!

A big thanks to all who made it happen. Was a great w/e but I'm totally knackered early night for me.

Majorly ****ed the shadow decided it would be a twat and not managed to sell it. Ended up missing out on something I wanted.

Anyway was nice to finely meet some of you reprobates. Just a shame I can't rem who goes with which name lol

I had a really good time Saturday my dad enjoyed it I defiantly no what pinball I'm going to get next

Home after three days of pinballness.
My ears are ringing, my voice doesn't work and my back hurts so I think we all agree it was fantastic.
Will, Ive, Matt and Rav did great to pull that all together. Poi and Marks work to get the power set up was stressful but well done to them.
The army of helpers, setting up their own and others machines made it all work so smoothly. I could name more people but I would only miss some out and get embarrassed.
Personal thanks to Dan for making every car journey so funny. ;-)

I'm home now too. Feck of a drive, but absolutely worth it. Great weekend. Outside of the competition games I probably played four or five pinball machines and had a great time. Top marks to everyone that made it happen

Highlight for me was the lesbian karaoke bar

In a nutshell Dave. It didn't work.... Ever.. Lol

Not true it worked but the right flipper hold didn't work for some reason so it wasn't used in the showdown. They suspected a diode on the coil when Dom tested it. Because of the lack of a normal soldering iron they decided to just swap the coil for one Matt Adams had and then it started popping the 8amp power fuse so at which point it was left. So fook knows what's wrong with it now

Sounds like it was a blast - gutted I missed it - hopefully next year I will make it.

Pics anyone?

There's an image I won't forget in a long while ! I'm sure you know the ones I mean Paul... :D

...and we don't ever let Tony loose with a kazoo again.

Yes, a great weekend, thanks to the Slam lads. First time play of Cactus Canyon, Congo, Swords of Fury and Flintstones for me, enjoyed them all and made a nice change to get more than one game on Medieval Madness. Psych tent was just nuts and a good laugh.. No long waits to play and still room to move around all weekend despite how busy it was. Top notch all round.

Day of recovery today.... Roll on NERG !!

Many thanks to all who organised the slam, it was great fun and the weekend went so fast, got to play some great pins with forum members.
Big thank you to Matt and Chris for being so patient and fixing my sticky flipper on the sm.
Hope you get the Shadow sorted Rudedogg,
